We have been seeing Vanessa since October 2021 and she has been excellent since day 1! We started training with our Pitbull puppy at 10 months - he is super energetic, curious, and very social. We had a number of issues that we wanted to work on with our pup - including impulse control, a structured walk, potty training - to name a few.Vanessa provided us with the tools and resources to position us to be successful! We’ve seen significant strides in our dog’s behaviour, and we are so thankful for Vanessa’s knowledge and passion.What makes Vanessa and the Balanced Canine different? A huge factor for us was that she utilizes positive reinforcement with her training! During your sessions - she gives you the opportunity to practice what she has taught, and corrects you in real time. Body language is huge with dogs! She provides you with a report card at the end of each session that outlines what you learned in your session so that you can practice at home.She is kind, patient (with you and your pup), and celebrates all your small wins! She has been nothing but wonderful and we would 100% recommend her to anyone looking for a trainer!
