Weirdest alcohol store experience ever! I walked in and there was nothing on the shelves. The lights weren't even on. I asked the girl behind the counter why there was no alcohol on the shelves and she didn't know either. Lmao... it was at least funny. Check it out. Haha

Went to visit family in Kalowna from Langley and dropped by at Friends". Service was excellent and so was the food. Nice atmosphere and worthy of another visit with "Friends"."

Friends Pub and Liquor Store
We've been here a couple times, and haven't really had a good experience yet. The staff is friendly, but the food isn't very good and way over priced for what it is. With that being said, I did win $150 on a $0.50 pull tab, so that was a bonus, and paid for our overpriced and inedible meals.

May 16th at like 9pm we came and nobody greeted us, the waitress looked at us and said nothing so we had to ask if we just seat ourselves, we sat for 15 minutes and nobody came to our table so we left, while walking out the waitress wasn’t even in the restaurant anymore. There was only two other tables, bad service.

I got wings and fries. Both were delicious. Wings & fries were nice & crisp. Oh and gravy was pretty good too. I will definitely be going back.

I arrived at the pub just a few minutes before the end of happy hour and was greeted almost immediately by the only floor server on shift at the time, and after ordering a couple of happy hour beers and some wings I was astonished when the food and drink both arrived in less than 7 minutes.My server's name was Quinn and she was absolutely fantastic this place might not have the Flash and Dash some of the downtown locations, but the old school style service and attention to detail by Quinn was absolutely exceptional.I highly recommend and will be back!

It was decent and clean. I found the food to be a bit pricey, and the Calamari was bland, but the service was ok. It's a cozy place, but pricey.

I arrived at the liquor store, met with no sort of gaze from the lady at the counter asked a few questions. Again met with the same disregard for even existing in her presence. I left because I didn't want anything to deal with the place. Not five minutes later the lady at the counter came out for a cigarette, right beside the door to the store. I would be careful trying to talk to anyone there.

We got food poisoning on the weekend from chicken on the flat bread pizza. When I called to let them know, it was dismissed like they didn’t believe me. That’s okay, I’ll just let others know, so they don’t suffer the same fate. Shame on Friends pub for serving food that makes you sick!!!!
