Terrible Service from the very beginning. The owner mixed up the dates that were available for yacht charter, after confirming dates and time with my guests, she called to say the boat was not available that day. We then switched the day, and she agreed to gives us a one hour free for the inconvenience. She also agreed to drop us off in Granville Island although the pick up and drop off is in North Van. The day of the charter was fine, until we passed Granville Island at 6:30pm and the captain did not stop. Our drop off was supposed to be 8pm. We continued the charter until we realized the captain had in fact returned to North Van to drop us off. We did not get a free hour, nor were we dropped off at Granville Island. This caused complete confusion for our guests, and caused us to once again change our entire plans due to Jane's miscommunication. She then texted me saying she had heard I had a bad experience with her, and if I could tell her why. I texted her back and never heard back from her. I decided to call her. She then accused us of not getting off the boat at Granville Island even thought the captain had supposedly stopped there (this never happened) we passed Granville Island at 6:30pm when our drop off was at 8:00pm. She continuously yelled at me saying what do you want!". Seeing as a yacht charter is a luxury service

We had a yacht booked for a special occasion for 18 people. Noon the day before sent an email we had to drop to 13 guests for the same price. We modified our guest number. Then the owner cancelled the boat at 6pm the night after we had bought all our supplies for the day. We requested to scheduled any another other boat and they went radio silent. Just stopped answering her phone. Very disappointing experience. Worst customer experience I have ever had.

The owner was rude and disrespectful. My wife and I had the worst experience we have ever had on a yacht. She stole our money, we were bullied into paying upfront without being satisfied with our yacht ride. We were promised to get our remaining money after gas expense back but the owner has stopped picking up our calls.This company should be shut down. How they treat guests is not acceptable. Save your money, we all pay top dollar for a top dollar experience and this is not the place to get that experience. I am so disappointed. I was forced to send e-transfers knowing that there would be no way of getting my money back.

Worst experience ever. I gave 1 star because that was the lowest. The owner is so rude she swore and yelled at our whole party. The driver nearly killed us. Didn’t reimburse our money for gas. Now stopped answering our calls.

Our experience with Jane & Paradise Yacht Charters has been wonderful. Jane is very friendly, considerate and attentive. From the start she was very clear with all necessary details. The yacht was awesome, exactly described. Our Captain & Deckhand were extremely hospitable which made the whole experience that much better. All my friends and I had an amazing time, and we will definitely be back. Would highly recommend to everyone looking for a yacht charter!

I’ve booked twice with this charter company. Please note that while their office is listed on Granville Island, the boats will be coming from Richmond, so you’ll need to plan accordingly. Pickup from downtown can sometimes be challenging (location, consuming booking time, extra gas, etc.).The first time I booked with the company everything went smoothly. The boat was fantastic and so was the crew. I would rate this experience 4 or 5 stars.The second time I booked with the company (same boat), less than 24 hours before the booking was scheduled we were told that Transport Canada had inspected the boat and we could now only take 70% of the original capacity. I had to disappoint some of my guests and tell the others they’d have to pay proportionally more if they still wanted to come given that Paradise wouldn’t accept our offer for a reduced booking price (equivalent per person cost).To make matters worse, we were told that we were already getting a great deal (hardly the case when it was more than the price posted on the website) and falsely accused of not feeding the captain and 1st mate on the first trip. In reality, feeding the staff was never communicated as our responsibility, we did in fact have an abundance of food that we shared, and the captain messaged me the following day to tell us how great a group we were. We also tipped twice as much than suggested because the crew were great.Finally at 10PM the day before, there was some further complication (believe a mechanical issue discovered which may have been out of their control), and they cancelled our trip completely without any offer of replacement boat or future incentive. We received a refund, which was done promptly and appreciated.The second experience was 1 star and unfortunately we won’t be booking again nor recommending anyone else do so.

Had a great experience with Paradise - inspected the boat ahead of time, great captain and deckhand and Jane was easy to work with. The guests all had an amazing time and I highly recommend them.The captain knew where all the warm waters were around Howe Sound for swimming, and the deckhand kept the guests fed.Will def be back again next summer.

We had a wonderful experience with Paradise Charters. Jane is super nice and take care of everything for us. Highly recommended.

AWESOME Boat Trip until....First of all, on the trip itself we had a blast! Probably one of my best boating experience to date. But before you bask in the fun and games, be sure you take care of the business aspect of your rental first. As our post boating experience definitely deflated our experience; we won't be renting from here again.Variable Deposit - Don't be surprised if the deposit amount changes from what's initially quoted to the actual amount on the day you proceed. We were quoted $6K, and ended up putting down $8K. Not a big deal, but not professional.Boat Inspection - Normally with a car rental you wouldn't forget to inspect. However, this being our first boat rental in a while this eluded us and almost costed us dearly. Luckily a key photo taken right after departure by one of our passengers essentially vindicated us of any wrongdoing for the allege damage, saving us our $8000 deposit and potentially $1000s worth of damages that would have surely been levied. Yes, we should have been careful but in all fairness Jane should've done a proper walk through for INSPECTION purposes vs. just showcasing the boat for a sale. On the actual rental day (2 weeks after we saw the boat), there was no walk through inspection. Just load up the boat and go.Tip" - Understand that the 'Tip' is not discretionary but mandatory. I find this a bit odd as do you tip a pilot when he/she flies you from point A to B? Anyway

I have tried other Yacht Charter companies in the past and Paradise is by far the best in terms of service, price and quality of their fleet. Jane who was the person I was dealing with, was very nice, informative and responded very quickly to our questions. She was organized and my friends and I enjoyed the charter very much and without any issues.
