Just had our family late lunch at Grab n eat Filipino Restaurant here in Ottawa .Great food , delicious, tasty meals .Thanks Jay , the owner , was so friendly,accommodating .Restaurant clean , organized, lots of meals selection .Highly recommend this restaurant.Halo halo the best .Reasonable price as well.Besides Grab n Eat RestaurantIs Grab n eat groceryHarvey , the owner , friendly and accommodating.Nice , clean , organized groceryLots of selection .

Small family run (?) eatery, mainly take out, with a few tables outside. Phillipine dishes mainly. Can't say much about their hot meals because we have not tried them yet, but we have sampled their drinks on two occasions. Their bubble tea is pleasant, with the right amount of tapioca balls and a nice thick straw. Their halo-halo is a beautiful looking drink with some good flavors, but quite filling in is own! Will come back for the bubble tea though.

I came here for the halo halo and it was delicious!Well represented and good quality of dessert.The ube bread was also soft and nice.We also grabbed their combo, and they were high quality food that tasted homemade.

Nostalgic over carinderia-like taste. Brings me back to my old hood! Food were abso-freaky-lutely delish!The kind of halohalo that I crave. Will definitely visit when I get back in town.

I got the halo halo and something that tastes and looks very similar to a Mexican dish called chicharrón. The halo halo was very good, it tasted heavenly and it was fast since they pulled it out straight from their freezer. It was a bit expensive (around $10), but it was my first time trying halo halo. Overall 4/5.

The kind of food you'd eat when you are absolutely starving. It's not completely inedible, but makes you think why even bother cooking?". Think brick-hard dough sprayed with shrimp flavor and deep fried. Or something that looks like leftover veggies wrapped in what looks like a crepe but tastes like cornstarch. The only positive is that it is dirt cheap."
