Welcoming and friendly. Comedians were not too harsh on the audience, even those who sat in the front row. We saw Mike Gunn, Ant Dewson, Andy Stedman and Sean Gorman the night I went. All were funny. Mike Gunn has the obvious advantage of experience, presence and immaculate timing. Ant Dewson has a touch of the Adam Sandler, and Andy Stedman is warm, funny, and perfect for his role. Sean Gorman, the rising star, is lovable and funny. His routine has all the ingredients of an even greater act as he gets more experience and confidence.I look forward to seeing more of him and suspect his name will be heard often as he gets noticed. Some of the more clever retorts were lacking that night. Still, the audience wasn't challenging, just too drunk or too sober, basically a room of alcoholics, so perhaps there wasn't much to work with. All in all a much-needed good and relaxing night.Note to the owner, if you want more reviews, stick the barcode on the door so it can be scanned on the way out, as Google didn't recognise my visit. Failing that, send a follow-up email if you don't already. Google thought I was just at the pub, so they didn't ask for a review for the comedy club. Unashamedly I don't blame Google for that assumption. As an aside, I decided to go to Happy London Restaurant after as the reviews are 4.4. It's one minute from the comedy club and looks fun but don't be fooled...there's nothing funny about happy birthday being sung by staff to random customers literally every five minutes - eight times while I was there! Mustering all their energy to look excited but walking away from the table looking defeated and suicidal. Everything has taste removed and oil added; it seems they are trying to upstage Pizza Hut.

Decided to go on spur of moment. Enjoyed the show. Geoff Innocent was the best. Venue above the pub, you wouldn't know it was there. Worth it for a bit of fun and a laugh.

Loved it, but lost my arse in the attempt... Seriously, the chairs are beyond uncomfortable! It should be the comedians' job to make you uncomfortable not the chairs'! Show was half an hour late. Drinks were expensive. The host couldn't stop talking about her menopause. But overall, an informative sex-ed session. At least Ive learnt how a tall man and a short comedian 69, so you win some, you lose some. Either way, can't wait to come back, however, with a pillow next time

Absolutely fabulous night. Great range of comedians. Great size venue to be intimate enough yet not intimidating. Highly recommend visit to the comedy and bar. We will be back!!!

Great nightSaw some good live acts, very well organised with breaks in between for drinks (important!). Good mix of comedians and great centrally located venue. Jake Steers was my favourite - not only a great comedian but he made my day when he shook his head when someone tried to place a chair in front of my friend's - that's what I call mucking in! I was super happy as I won the prize draw for free tickets. So I will be going back!
