These guys are the bomb... I so appreciated the time they took resetting up my bow, showing me how to shot properly and all the tips and body positioning pointers. THANK YOU GUYS

I came here to get a bow set up for the first time. I got into hunting with firearms last year, and decided I also wanted to learn to bow hunt. Despite not having purchased the bow at Jim-Bows, the staff here went above and beyond to make sure my bow was set up correctly for me, and to make sure I knew how to shoot it properly. Now I have a month to really practice (a lot) and work on my effective range for the deer season.They stop offering lessons between July and late October. I didn't ask why, maybe they're just too busy during the bow season. Regardless, because of this I wasn't expecting to receive much instruction -- but I was wrong. During the setup of my bow, the professional (who I did not get the name of, but he was great!) took time to show me how to correctly draw, aim, and shoot my bow, and gave me all of the instruction that I would expect from a beginning lesson. He even continued to check in on my progress as I practiced over the next few hours. I felt like this service was above and beyond and I cannot recommend Jim-bows archery enough.In fact, I have a friend who is looking for a new bow, and I will make sure that it is Jim-bows that gets his business. I'll go with him, because it's an awesome store with cool selection of hunting and outdoor gear anyways.

Such a great place to go for your archery supplies or shooting. Dave, Ron and Adam are super friendly and willing to assist you with your archery needs; and sometimes that’s a even giving you a much need bandaid. It nice that when you go in they know your name!

Staff were very knowledgeable about all archery related equipment. They have a lane for trying out your equipment or you can bring your own and shoot. $15 for 14 and over. I believe. They have targets. You can buy as well.

Went into Jim-Bows to get my bow serviced and inspected after having sat for a very long time. Damon went through it, made some adjustments and gave me a refresher. He was super knowledgeable and very patient as I’m a little rusty. I left there feeling confident and pumped to get shooting again! Thanks Jim-Bows!!

Bought my first bow here. They never tied the peep sight in which let it fly free as soon as the string started to settle, (they actually will leave a mark on your face). They mounted a right hand pin sight upside-down on my left hand bow so that it was very hard to find plumb, and basically treated me like the noob I was. Sometimes you get what you pay for and sometimes you don't.

Went in for a basic bow set up and had a great experience. Staff are amazing and very helpful and polite. Would highly recommend to anyone who is looking to get into bows or just looking for basic service.

As a family of four who just walked in off the street to do a little shooting during a week of minus 30 weather, we had a great experience. Staff was very friendly and helpful, gave shooting advice to everyone the whole time there. Facilities are great, clean, they offer a 3D target shoot day, butts and gear is in great shape. They offer a good variety of good and reasonable prices....some of it is even less expensive then a big box outdoor shop down the road...very surprised by that. Location is easy to get to, in a newer light industrial area between St. Albert and Edmonton. We have been to other archery lanes, and feel this place is a more friendly place to shoot.

Pricing is fairIt’s clean and staff are helpful when needed. Only ever went there for the range.
