Ian wasn't the only woodstove installer we spoke with but he asked thoughtful questions, gave terrific advice and worked with our needs and budget in mind. And in the end, was no more expensive than 'slap-dash' contractors. His installer spent extra time to make sure everything not only worked well but looked good. Highly recommended.

I recently purchased a cottage outside Haliburton and was advised to call Myers Chimney to do a WETT inspection of my wood burning stove by my insurance company.While doing the inspection they told me sweeping an unknown system was a good call. I mentioned I was planning on moving in full time in the near future and wanted to save money heating with the wood stove.This was when I was told about Blaze King wood stoves and their crazy long burn times. I read the reviews of the stoves and was convinced to visit their show room. This was very useful to me as I don't know much about wood stoves but Ian was very friendly, concise and walked me through all the steps.I absolutely recommend Myers Chimney if you're interested in purchasing a stove, or having your current one maintained, and possibly having trouble on where to begin the process. They'll set you on the right track!

We recently had Ian from Myers Chimney install a new Blaze King Sirocco Wood stove as well as a new chimney system in our home and we couldn't be happier!Tina was a pleasure to deal with while making the order online and responded promptly to any and every question that we had.The installation was very professional and super quick.They had the new stove and Chimney set up completely in only a couple of hours!The stove itself is AMAZING! We recently replaced an old wood stove through Myers Chimney, with Ian’s knowledge we landed on a Blaze King Chinook 30. Ian was absolutely right on this recommendation. Josh, Ian’s installer was outstanding, making everything perfect, taking time to explain all the features and a quick lesson on lighting then setting the stove for long slow burns with lots of heat.We love the stove, easy to light, quick to heat up and long burn times! We had experienced a problem with our fireplace insert since installation and could not figure it out. Eventually we lived with blackened glass due to an airflow issue we thought was unsolvable. But, luckily we were referred to Myers and within the hour Ian connected with us and we began troubleshooting together.With Ian's questions and instruction we eventually found the issue! A significant error made by the installer.
