Thrifty Car Rental

I received an estimate from Thrifty's of $165.74. I left on a 5am flight and dropped off the keys. The charge on my m/c was $315.86 - a difference of $150.12. I have emailed twice asking for a statement to see why the charges were higher. No response either time. Terrible business morals. Don't rent from them.

Some of the staff were very friendly here, the shuttle bus drivers were great to and from the airport. The lady at the front desk upon arrival seemed unfriendly, and they were unsure if they had a midsize car available despite reserving one 3 months prior. They also quoted me a price and then tacked on the under 25 fee at the till without previously telling me how much the under 25 fee would be. When I asked prior to arrival what the charge was they said they were unsure. It ended up being an additional $25/day. The carseat I booked was not set up in the car, and they initially gave me a booster seat for my child who is not old enough or big enough to sit in a booster seat (and yes I reserved an actual carseat and gave them the weight and age of my daughter prior to arrival). I would not recommend hertz rental car company, but the shuttle drivers were very friendly!

Very good service. A bit of a mixup with my booked rental, but they very quickly fixed me up and gave a free upgrade to make up the difference. Great company.
