BeatStreet is amazing!!!! They answer every question you come in with, and are more than willing to run to the back to grab something for you. Always so friendly and courteous!!! The best record place in downtown Vancouver for sure :) never leave empty handed, and the prices are fair for what you’re getting, especially with that great service!!!

Great service, a very chill dude who was working at the counter kindly/patiently took his time to answer all my annoying questions about what they have stock, always have some awesome finds that your local store or sunrise may not have, very pleased with this store after seeing how the record store over by the spaghetti factory treats their customers. Beat street is the place to shop for sure!!

One of the few places left with a listening station to discover new and interesting finds. Geared towards DJs with a huge collection of hip-hop and dance singles but still has lots of LPs in most popular genres (and a few unique ones)

This place is amazing. Records I thought I’d never come across all in one place and I didn’t even get through most of it (hip hop collection) I give major props to the curator of this store. Listening stations for discerning shoppers is available on the sl-1200 turntable no less. Records seemed very fairly priced and friendly customer service. My collection has amazing additions thanks to Beat Street!

Visited the store today, and loved it. Large store, tons of merchandise, and very well organized. Walked out with about 6 albums that I had been looking for. Great staff, very friendly, excellent customer service and extremely helpful. Highly recommend you visit this record store when you're in the city!

A great record store, wide selection of music from all corners of the world and styles. Pricing is reasonable and not like discogs or ebay which makes a change from shopping in London. Friendly staff chill vibes. I haven't lived in vancouver for long but this is fast becoming my favourite places.My only feedback would If they can get some more jungle, drum and bass, UKG and dubstep it would be perfect. I appreciate all that stuff is hugely popular now and hard to get hold of in good condition and at good price though.

I recommend this record store because of the nice staff and record selection. I was surprised at the selections here. I recommend for anyone who's an vinyl enthusiasts or who's just starting. The staff here seems knowledgeable.

Legendary. Always walk in and out with something. Great place with everything you could ask for in a vinyl shop. Owner is chill and great to talk to. Very friendly welcoming vibe and the tunes spinning are guaranteed to make you feel good inside.Prices are fair and tons of selection in new and used records. Two technics 1200 listening stations and some cool funky old school headphones to set the the scene right. Pre-pandemic, I was coming here nearly every other week and I live 45-60 minutes away. Love this place!
