We have delt with Harwood for many years and always found there service to be top notch.We recently had our gas fireplace serviced by Josh and could not be happier. Punctual and very professional. Your customer was too nice to leave this review so as the technician that had to clean up your terrible installation I'm leaving this review as a warning. They gave you guys lots of opportunity to come good. It wasn't even a year since the installation and problems from day one. Here are the issues that had to be addressed and are now repaired properly.1. Evaporator coils DO NOT go upstream of a gas furnace. It is against the manufacturer instructions and Gas code and rust out the heat exchanger prematurely.2. The evaporator coil was also upstream of the basement return air causing terrible imbalance and very low airflow actually through the coil making the system capacity and efficiency very low.3. The wood fired boiler thermostat and propane furnace thermostats were not wired correctly causing the a/c to switch on during the winter.4. There was a leak on the copper gas line flare fitting connected to the furnace allowing propane gas to seep into the furnace area.Its too bad you did this to a long time customer at that even though the first three issues were brought to your attention. Everyone makes mistakes but its mostly important how we deal with them. I will say thank you for the new customer I have.

Service was great. He arrived exactly when he was supposed to. He asked a lot of questions and fixed the problem quickly. He then took extra time to look at our whole system and offered suggestions to make it more efficient. 10/10 service.

My ductless air conditioner desperately needed cleaning because there was black soot coming from it.Rick the technician did an. amazing job.He took the whole unit apart and cleaned it thoroughly.Our unit is running so much better & efficient now.I was very pleased with the fair price also.I will definitely get Harwoods in the future for my heating and cooling needs.

This is the second time Harwood has saved me in a pinch and got my furnace running again. Brad was awesome and even showed me all the issues and offered recommendations. Thanks for keeping me warm Harwood!

Update to my previous review:Service technician came out yesterday (I guess I made it to the list this time), and once again, I was very impressed with the professionalism of this representative of the company. He was on time, was very detailed in his inspection and answered all my questions. Because of this, I have upped my rating.Original post:We had great service when purchasing and installing our fireplace in 2019. Very pleased with all the info and the fireplace is beautiful and gets a lot of compliments.I called them in the fall of 2020 to schedule our yearly service check. I was “on the list”. After 3 more calls between then and the spring of 2021 (I was always on the list) still no service. I called again today and guess what? I’m on the list for when they start doing service checkups. Wouldn’t that be something you can do at any time of the year? It seems they areThe fireplace is making a noise when we started it up and I’m already anxious about using propane so now I don’t feel I can use the unit until it is checked. I have tried to be patient, recognizing that COVID has caused delays but what about safety?Very unhappy about the post-sale (lack of) service and concern for the customer.

I can't say enough how great these guys were to deal with from beginning to end. From the first phone call to have someone come in for a quote to the when the service was done, everything was absolutely A1. Super friendly and professional. They call you back when they say they're gonna call you back. Incredibly communicative every step of the way.And the work! Oh the work they did! *kisses fingers like an Italian chef* Perfect. Exactly what we wanted. And when they were done, they left everything as clean as how they found it.Just a swell bunch of guys and girls!
