I just fished two days with Taro. The best fishing experience I've ever had with a guide in my 50+ years of fishing. I told him I wanted to fish for new species for my lifelist both micro and macro and he didn't flinch. We fished several lakes creeks and rivers from boat and on shore or wading. He worked super hard to get me on fish. I caught 19 species with 9 of them new to me. I can't recommend him enough.

TARO IS A FISH GOD.I have been out 3 times with Taro in 6 months and I will never fish with another guide ever again.He knows fish patterns, teaches you fishing techniques, let's you catch every fish and, most importantly, won't stop until you catch.We caught 14 small mouth (up to 5 pounds on Simcoe), 14 walleye (up to 13.25 pounds in Bay of Quinte), and a 13 pound Pike ice fishing in Scarborough.

Taro is a fishing Genius! I've fished with him multiple times over the years and with him I've caught my PB Muskie, PB Smallmouth, and on one half day trip I boated over 35 Walleye! One trip last year he apologized for a slow day of fishing. I wasn't sure what he was talking about, as we landed 10+ fish and I lost a couple.If you are looking for a fun day on the water and catch fish I recommend Fish City Tours!

I would give more stars if I could! Taro went out of his way to accommodate us and get us some walleye, as we requested, and a small mouth bass and a crappie! He filleted it and no bones to be found. The best part other than how good he is at fishing, is he explains things as much as you would like, and he is a nice guy. I would visit Toronto again just to go out with Fish City Tours Fishing Guide. Thank you!

Great day on Simcoe! Been out with lots of guides. Really worth the time with Taro because:(a) he knows where the fish are and how to address catching them(b) very good boat and equipment - well prepared(c) professional - on time and great pre-trip communication(d) nice guy - someone you could spend a day with(e) knowledgeable - gives advice without being pushyI hope to book more outings this season. Found Taro on the net by chance!
