We are so pleased to have our new solar screens installed on our deck. Charlene responded quickly to my initial email requesting information and a quote. Within a few days, James was at the house with samples, recommendations of product/color selection and did final measurements. The installers were efficient, polite and won our dog over which isn't always easy to do!Friendly and professional on every level! Local company with quality product and service. Knowledgeable and no high pressure sales approach. We are ready for the summer season!

Our experience was very friendly and professional starting with the lovely Charlene in the store, to the three young men on the install. Cleanup was better than it was b4 they arrived. The crew from Okanagan Shade and Shutter did a great job on a potentially difficult installation. It was a 24 foot awning on a second floor deck with no inside access and a very narrow path down to below the deck. The men handled it with aplomb and we have a wonderful shade on the south side of our home to keep us cool when the heatwave comes. Many thanks. Brian and Judi Bradford

I am so pleased with my roll shutters! I found Glenn and his team very professional and easy to work with. The product is made locally, so no waiting! I chose the manual open/close option, and they are super easy to open & shut. I highly recommend this company and their product! Thank you!!!

One of the best investments we've ever made. Our dining room area doesn't have much of an overhang so in late afternoon when the sun came around, the heat would just pour in and the air conditioner would run full tilt to no avail. Since the new solar screen was installed, the amount of heat in that area has diminished dramatically and the air conditioner is much happier!!The installation crew was excellent and very courteous. Is refreshing to know there are still people out there that actually give a dam. Would certainly recommend Okanagan Shade and Shutter

James during our initial call was polite and timely with his inspection and quote for the works. Glen and Quentin installed and were very thorough reviewing the works before and during the installation. Cleanup was completed and demobilization by 4:15 to not inconvenience us through the dinner hour and thanks also thanks to Charlene OKSS, Ops Manager

James and his crew were a pleasure to deal with and did excellent work on our large (32’) sun screen. The screen looks and operates excellent and has changed our life allowing us to enjoy hot summer days on the deck that were not options in the past. We can still see the lake through the screen and the difference it makes blocking the sun is incredible. This review is a bit late however thought it was important to let people know how good these folks are (screen installed 2020). Thanks so much OKSS

We purchased a large awning for our deck. Charlene was very approachable and helpful. We were allowed to take fabric samples home which was nice. James came to our house right away. He put us at ease with his expertise and recommendations. The installation crew did a super job. I feel like we were so well taken care of all around. And, our new awning is perfect! We are so excited to use it!
