Never Been Here Before, Hell, I've Never Been To Canada Before . I Know This Fire House, It Was Used In The Movie Roxanne Staring Steve Martin . As A Matter Of Fact, This Is The Town Where Roxanne Was Filmed In 1987, How Awesome Is That .

All the time I spent in Nelson I never had use of the fire department but always felt safer with them a short distance away. I stayed at family's house at 414 Robson street.Thank you to the past , current, and future members for your service and dedication.

A very friendly firefighter gave us an excellent tour. The museum had two beautiful 1944 fire trucks and many other examples of firefighting equipment.

Great historical building, also has museum. Featured in the Steve Martin movie Roxanne.

We were staying at a local resort on the waterfront and when checking out we found the elevator was not working. A staff member had been stuck inside for 15 minutes. We were travelling with our 88 year old mother who can not do stairs and we were on the second floor. The resort staff were awsome and we asked them to contact the fire department for assistance. With in a short time Martin from the fire department was there and assisted my mom down the flight of stairs. Mom said she was so grateful as she felt very safe thanks to Martin. So Martin thanks so much for giving up time on a Sunday to assist us. We are very grateful for your service. You were not fighting a fire but you certain helped oit my mom and she smiled the rest of the day. Another road trip adventure for her.
