I don't know what happened here. They served our food in Styrofoam containers, even though we were dining in. When I asked for plates, they brought us paper plates and plastic cutlery. It sucks because their food has been great. Please up your game!

After a long week on the road, I was after something different - Japanese Bistro.Ordered the Salmon Poke Bowl and two Scallop Hand Cones.My tastebuds excitingly came alive. The outstanding flavours mixed with fresh salmon in the Poke Bowl was out of this world.The Scallop Hand Cones - melt in your mouth freshnessBubble Tea, Taro, fresh bubble tea - the perfect end to an amazing feast.So good, repeated same order 2nd day.Just can’t get enough - hate to say this but it’s just about better than Chocolate.Mmmmm

Pretty good value for $20. Food was definitely good but had to remove a star for lack of wasabi. Tempura and sushi without tempura for me is not the same, so it was kinda ruined.Either they forgot to add it or the meal doesn’t come with it; either way I was dissatisfied with that part (the main reason I chose this place tonight)

I have eaten here several times and it is a great place for lunch or dinner. Everything you would expect in Japanese food is largely available and the prices are reasonable. You can even sit on a swinging bench/chair at your table.

Good variety of Japanese foods on the menu. Service is quick whether you eat on or take away. Quality is good and reasonably priced. We were served some complimentary spring rolls while we waited for our food.

A friend and I went to Teriyaki Corner for dinner last night - something we had done routinely prior to the pandemic, so it was great to make our return after 18 months. The restaurant was empty when we arrived, so we expected to receive our dine-in order quickly. My friend placed his order and then I placed mine (yakitori, veggie miso soup, and original size chicken rice bowl) and we took our seat in one of the booths by the window. Within 5 minutes, our entire order had arrived - which was very surprising since I didn't expect it to be served THAT quickly.My veggie miso soup had good flavor, but was served at medium warm temperature, got cold very quickly (within 5 - 6 minutes), had one small piece of seaweed and was garnished with 6 small pieces of green onion. Similarly, the yakitori had good flavor from the sauce it was served in, but was served at medium warm temperature, got cold very quickly (within 5 - 6 minutes) and had such a tough texture that I couldn't finish it. The original size chicken rice bowl was served with grilled chicken, bean sprout, and edamame bean on a bed of rice mixed with their signature teriyaki w/ sesame sauce. Similar to the other items I ordered, it had good flavor, but was served at medium warm temperature and it too got cold quickly.My overall experience was not a good one; while I enjoyed the relaxed and casual atmosphere and fast and friendly service, I did not enjoy the food - which is why I was there. The next time I'm in the mood for Japanese cuisine, I'll pick a different place.

Very nice place, food is really good and tasty, ordered tempura,sushi maki and some rice bowl, love the curry pork rice bowl and the potato croquette, also staff are very friendly. Will go there again for sure.

Went here couple of days ago for lunch and was craving sushi that’s just around the area during my lunch break. It was a good time to come as it wasn’t too busy after 1 PM. The staff was decent, the service was fast, they also gave the food to you where you are seated when you are dining in (that was nice), and the food was yummy. I ordered a sashimi bento box with a side of miso soup and was full right after. It’s not the first time I’ve eaten here and once in awhile I do crave a good sashimi or sushi with rice other than Edo but not beyond a Mikado. A mid of between and that’s nice to have.

I was in the southside and decided to try the nearest Japanese restaurant which ended up being this place. Its kinda Fast foody for a Japanese restaurant. A little bit more than a Edo but not your traditional Japanese place.That being said the food was nice for what it was, don't go in expecting a real restaurant, its Japanese quick service food.I ordered a combo and some gyoza, the gyoza were nice as was the Miso soup.The combo had tempura, spring rolls, 2 pieces of low end sushi, some chicken on rice and Kimchi.The tempura was tasty as were the spring rolls, the chicken was pretty good and the sushi, well look at the pictures, you know what that tasted like.
