YR Pools and Landscape

Elliot and his crew installed my fibreglass pool about two years ago. They did an excellent job. The other day I needed them to come back and look at a few things and they were there the same day and did a great job! Great place to get a pool! Highly recommend using them to anyone!!

Elliot at York Region Pool & Spa came highly recommended by a neighbour who had also put in a new pool. From the very first consultation to the actual build, Elliot provided excellent service and was always available to answer any questions. It's almost been 2 years since are pool went in and Elliot still continues to provide great service when needed. We had the pleasure of working with Yr Pools for our backyard project. We had originally received quotes from 4 other companies. After meeting Will it was obvious who we were going with. Will was brutally honest, upfront and most importantly extremely knowledgeable.After meeting with Will, we were introduced to our project manager Sean.Sean always seemed to know what was happening with out project. Both Sean and Will were very helpful through out the project with keeping us informed as well as helping us make the difficult decisions on our project from a logical standpoint. Companies generally try to push more expensive, and un-needed materials/upgrades to maximize profits; Will and Sean were always upfront, even helped us cut costs by being honest about features we didn't need.All of the installation crews we met with were an absolute pleasure to work with. All of their installers were professional, respectful and extremely focused on keeping the project moving efficiently. YR Pools were fantastic with keeping our job site clean.Once our project was completed we were throughly impressed by the workmanship by YR Pools. One of the most impressive qualities that YR Pools has is their customer support. I like many new pool owners have had many questions about water chemistry as well as how to properly use the mechanical equipment. Both Will and Sean have been available, even after the project was complete to answer any and all questions we have had.To Will, Sean and the entire YR team; thank you for all of your hard work! You turned our uninspired backyard into our personal oasis which will provide us with many life lasting memories! YR Pools have been a great all-around pool installation and service provider for us. We ordered a pool in late 2020 and like many people got caught in the logistics nightmare of the pandemic. While the original timelines were unattainable, Will and the rest of the YR Pools team moved mountains to find equipment, source landscaping materials and manage suppliers in the midst of all of the Covid-19 chaos to deliver us a great final product. The best aspect of our YR Pools experience was the problem-solving, customer service and communication provided throughout the project. It wasn't always good news being delivered, but communication was good to help us manage our expectations. Some challenges were faced due to third-party production errors, but YR delivered quick solutions to correct them. Ultimately the project was completed and estimates were honoured even though market costs escalated during the 2021 season. Now that we've had the pool through a full summer season, we are extremely happy with our choice of YR Pools as our contractor.

Long story short, we had our backyard transformed and pool installed in July 2020. The whole experience from start to finish was pretty amazing. Elliot and his crews' (thanks, Tim!) customer service and attention was outstanding. Anytime we had a question or concern, Elliot would personally talk to us and take his time, we never felt rushed.It's our personal oasis and all our friends and family love it too!I've attached some pics but they never do it justice.

During the installation of our Dolphin Fiberglass pool, we identified bulging and warping of the pool walls and while the original dealer did not want to correct the issue and expressed this was “acceptable”, we contacted Dolphin Fiberglass pools and they put us in touch with Elliot and his team at YR Pools. It took Elliot’s trained eye only a few seconds from 50 feet away to see the problem and after some discussions with the dealer, Elliot was able to ensure they fixed their poor installation. Elliott’s team supervised the re-installation process and rectified the issue. We are truly grateful to the Elliott and Dolphin Fiberglass pools for maintaining high quality standards and standing by their product. We now feel confident we will enjoy our fiberglass pool for many years.

Used YR Pools to build our pool and it looks amazing! We really wanted a kidney shape pool but thought based on our budget we were going to have to settle for a rectangular shaped. Elliot (the owner) pulled out all the stops to make sure we got the kidney shape! During an incredibly busy pool season, Elliot and his team worked hard to make sure we were in our pool as soon as possible. He even came on his vacation during a weekend to personally set up some additional equiptment. He has some great employee's that care, like his project manager Tim who came several days in a row out to Burlington on off hours, so that we were swimming in time for our Vacation. Great company and highly recommended! Thanks Elliot!!!

We would’ve posted our review of YR Pools sooner, but you guessed it.. We were too busy enjoying our pool! This company is by far the definition of professional, trustworthy, knowledgeable, team-oriented, and the list goes on and on. The decision to install a pool is definitely not an easy one and I have to say, from the moment we signed our contract to our first splash, Will and the team walked us through every step of the way with confidence and peace of mind. On our end, we researched and researched and had several other companies (more well-known companies) come over to give us a quote, but none of them were a fit for us. YR Pools answered all of our questions (and we had a lot!) throughout the entire process. Even when obstacles occurred, Will was right there, front and center with a solution. As new pool owners, the team showed us how to use everything and ensure proper care of all equipment. And now, although our project is complete, our relationship with YR Pools continues to grow as Will often reaches out to see how everything is. We strongly recommend this company.
