Mission Creek Animal Hospital

Very happy with the vets and staff at Mission Creek Animal Hospital. They show their concern for the animals and follow up when necessary. A very good place to take your ‘best friends’.

After considering it seriously, I've decided to give a one-star rating. My 17-months cat did vaccinations, regular examinations and spayed surgery here, and we were satisfied with everything they did. However, things changed from last month. After our kitty vomited and stopped eating and pooping for two days, we sent her here. They did a blood and urine test（our kitty peed little by little), and the results were no problem. Then, they did an X-ray and said it was not clear enough, thus suggesting to do an Ultrasound. After doing that, the doctor said there was something in her stomach, and she needed to do surgery to take it out and not sure if this caused the problem. Fine, we decided to do the surgery. We hoped to take it out, and our kitty would be healthy. Following their suggestion, we left our kitty in the hospital for the next day's surgery. However, they told us they didn't find anything in our kitty's stomach after the surgery! It was not there! They still didn't confirm what caused Mimi's sickness!! What's the point of the surgery? What did my kitty suffer? She was sick and received this surgery to make her much more uncomfortable!! It is like you only had a slight stomach illness but were asked to do the exploratory surgery!! Cat is unable to speak, so I must talk!!! It costs us almost $4000 but without any conclusions.

I know my pets are in the best of hands at this clinic. I feel so bad as I cried at the front desk when I had to leave my kitten for tests and surgery. The team was so compassionate and friendly. I cannot recommend this practice enough.

The staff are kind and understanding. They always take very good care of our dog when we go in there, so much so that she's not scared of going to the vet, which is awesome because she is a little scared of people.

I would highly recommend Mission Creek Animal Hospital. The staff has been very friendly and easy going. Dr. Tasmin Dunkin has been incredible. She is very caring, communicates well, and is a true professional. 5 stars!

We've been with Doctors Andrew and Tannis at their practice for over a decade now. The ethic of care held by the entire staff at MCAH is nothing short of exceptional. They've been with us every step of the way, through kittenhood to end-of-life, in offering our cats the most enriched and comfortable quality of life possible. My puppy LOVES coming to the clinic because he is consistently treated with kindness and consent-based care. Everyone here is incredibly generous with their time, expertise, and their hearts. Endless appreciation and gratitude to all the folks here for their dedication and hard work - we're so lucky to have you in our community!

Mission Creek Animal Hospital has provided what feels to me to be extremely thorough and great care. We are always impressed by their organization and communication- the front desk staff do a great job. When we need to talk with the Vet about certain treatment they are patient and very informative- our dog needed leg surgery as a result of tearing a ligament and the team at Mission Creek promptly got us a referral and helped us plan the next steps. I would confidently refer friends and family to care for their fur family.

Dr. Andrew McCarthy and his wife Dr. Tanis McCarthy and all the staff at Mission Creek Animal Hospital are the best. Mission Creek Animal Hospital are very caring and very professional and they were there for us when our dogs needed care and got us in promptly. Highly recommended.
