Super friendly staff. Seems like the most affordable place to get your bike tuned up. Called me when they found other issues we hadn’t discussed prior to check if I wanted them to also fix them which I appreciated. Would definitely take my bike here in the future. Turn around was like 3.5 business days.

Thank you Janice! I bought a bike second-hand, and didn't notice some of the frame mounts were stripped. I called ahead, and they said to drop by whenever! A few minutes later, after trying a couple options, ultimately the mounts were rethreaded to 6mm from 5mm. Very professional work, at an affordable price! Also had a nice chat! Thanks Janice, much appreciated!

The whole team at Lanesplit are a pleasure to deal with and are fantastic at what they do. Brought my bike in for a tune up and it was feeling better than the day I first bought it when I got it back. Highly recommend going here for any parts, service or questions as you get the quality of service and small shop appeal that is lost on a lot of larger Vancouver bike shops.

I had a great experience here. I brought my bike in get a new chain, they replaced it, provided an improved chain ring and discovered and fixed a loose bottom bracket. Although it was more work than expected it was completed quickly and I was able to take the bike home without needing to come back later.

Reddit recommended me to Lanesplit Cycles and the hype is real. Went in for a standard tune up and a clicking noise near the handlebars. Problem was fixed and the bike is feeling brand new. An honest and affordable cycle shop. I will definitely be back for future tunings. Thanks!

lanesplit cycles is such a beautiful gift to a city that has few resources for those of us trying to thrive/survive. jan is very knowledgeable, and there are options to use either new and/or recycled bike parts usually.cannot speak more highly of the quality of service, communication, and kindness that this place offers. our community is greater for it. here's a pic of my old ten speed, good as new and looking gorgeous <3

The crew at Lanesplit are wonderful! I came in with a broken pedal, and they had something basically brand new for half price ready to go. Not only that, they looked over my bike and noted several concerns right away that'd been missed elsewhere. Rider safety is a top priority here. I left it in the shop to get some needed work done and couldn't be happier with the service on pickup. Janice did a great job and she even gave me some good recommendations to help make my ride safer in the future. My beloved Nishiki Olympic rides SO much better than before and I feel more confident in my ride! If you're in east van and need a good bike hub, don't miss these guys!

I can’t say enough about this amazing bike repair shop. I had such a great experience here, I was treated with nothing but kindness and every effort was made to ensure my bike (which needed so much work) came out brilliantly - which it did! Reylinn talked me through everything that needed to be done and was so thoughtful when considering and describing all the options. I will be bringing my bikes here from now on and really can’t recommend them enough. And, to boot, my old, dearly loved bike has never looked or ridden better.I find it can be really intimidating to walk in to a bike shop, but Lanesplit was the complete opposite of intimidating, I felt welcome and the experience was truly a pleasure.Thank you so much!
