Always friendly, huge portions,great deals on family meals, very fast service and the chicken is always done perfectly. Not to mention that the gravy is so good I've decided to replace my morning coffee with it.

Popped in for a quick bite to eat (breakfast). Staff were great, and super nice. The food was perfect. Actually, I've never seen a more perfectly cooked egg before, it was beautiful.

The service was great and everything was very reasonably priced. Whether I’m going there for breakfast or dinner the food is always great and I can truly say I’ve enjoyed every one of my meals from this restaurant!

Food was hot and delicious. When ever we go through Dugald, we will be stopping for a snack or a meal forsure. Very friendly staff. Lots of parking.

It's getting harder and harder to find a decent Chicken Chef, most are sub par at best, but this one was great! Food was super quick, heaping portions, and most importantly it tasted amazing. The waitress was friendly and on top of her job. A wonderful experience. I wish I didn't live over an hour away to frequent this location more often.

Breakfast special well worth stopping for. Shredded hashbrowns with onion take up half the plate which is good for my morning hunger. Eggs always how I want them. It is a busy place frequented by local people. Friendly atmosphere.

Been enjoying Dugald chicken chef since we moved here. Always loved the pizza, and the chicken was hit and miss.New owners took over a few years ago, and it seems like the quality and care has taken a plunge. The last few attempts for chicken orders kept getting worse. Kid decided he wanted fries chicken.for his bday. Ordered typical family meal. Chicken was dark brown, over-cooked and dry. Smelled like old oil, fries were bland and soggy. Gravel taste like it looked. Called to complain as this was the third time in the last few months with a horrible experience. Owner delivered us a full new order with a pizza. Unfortunately the chicken was no better. Super greasy and still tasted bad. The pizza was good. We may order pizza again, give them another chance, but the chicken I do not recommend.Hope they read review and fix the issues with the oil and chicken.

The atmosphere at this CC is welcoming throughout the day. Mornings are the best if you are out for a walk and need another coffee. Chances are you will find your neighbors there. Lunch and dinner specials every day of the week. No chicken place on prairies can beat the taste of Chicken Chef chicken, period. It's another Manitoba thing to be proud of!!

I have to say I love Chicken Chef but the chicken from the one in Dugald is really good. Great Diner
