Avery's Farm Market

Small store but has a little of everything, produce, bakery, home items, pet food, etc. stock was low when I went but also was a few days before Easter so understandable. But definitely recommend checking it out. Especially in the summer when they have plants !

If you want to Buy Local, Avery’s has the fresh Nova Scotia produce you want… Corn, Strawberries and everything fresh, at better prices.We strongly recommend the meats from Meadowbrook Farms! Well-priced and delicious!

By far my favourite place to shop for many reasons :).I prefer to always shop local whenever possible & absolutely love the smell of fresh, locally grown produce! They provide as local as feasibly possible. Have great sales every week. Nice selection of bedding & container plants in early Summer.Hate the horrible fake-tasting, sugary new ice cream, but I don’t need the ice cream anyway.Shopping at my LOCAL Avery’s saves so much time and money rather than big box stores!Baskets get heavy to carry through the store as you shop, so a couple of small grocery carts would be awesome for those of us who do most of our shopping there. Love the bean sprouts! They now carry fresh pea shoots! Awesome sweet potatoes. Great oranges! Great meats selection. My husband loves their new frozen, no by-product Jimmy/Jimmie dogs! Great staff - Oh and FREE BAGS!FREE BAGS, however they’d be happy to fill your own shopping bags. :)

Avery's Markets are always nice, but when I stopped by this one the other day, the heavy metal music was so loud it was nerve wracking. The clerk was friendly and helpful, but ignored my comment that the music was TOO loud. Clerks should be instructed not to play music in the store that is to their own personal taste, but something appropriate for the general public, and esp. not not loud and raucous!

A warm and welcoming place with fresh local produce. Staff is always so helpful and accommodating, and is knowledgeable about their products.

love their selection of produce and local goods. Really great prices and quite cost effective. We buy all our veggies there.

I used to come here for ice cream as a kid and still love to do the same. Support local and the have great prices !!
