Greenfield Village next to Henry Ford Museum. Awe inspiring technology where it began all in one place on a spread out campus. We spent four+ hours and we didn't hit it all. Very cool and informative. Has replicas of all the greatest inventions brought from their original sites to this one inspiring location. I prefer the Henry Ford Museum, it contains iconic pieces of American History all in one spot indoors to boot.

My family and I really enjoyed this museum. There were so many cool cars but also trains and planes. I felt really old when I saw a McDonalds happy meal toy from my childhood, in one of the displays. There were also a lot of other cool exhibits. The one about slavery and Rosa Parks was so moving and sad. There were a lot of interactive elements in the car area. We were there for 4 hours and didn't see everything.

Great spot! Would highly recommend to anyone who loves cars, motorsports, and history. Takes about 2-3 hours to walk around peacefully and check out all the cars on display. There is definitely a lot to look at so make sure you have appropriate energy to walk around. Staff was very friendly too.

This is a gigantic one storied museum! It took me almost four hours. If you are into automobiles and locomotives, this place is just for you.One improvement I would like to see would be the installation of pointers so that I understand which direction I should go next. I ended up walking through the same aisle multiple times because I turned to a direction that belonged to different genres of things. The map wasn't very useful in understanding which way the flow runs. Other than this, it was a good experience.

This is an amazing museum. So clean and has a great flow. The staff was so friendly and courteous. Always waiting to help out and gave great advice and tips for navigating the space. It's always good to ask people who know it best and they all seemed eager to help out. The exhibitions are fascinating. I was blown away by the gift shops and food service options. Barely had enough time to see everything and there seems to be 2 days worth of exploring, I will have to come back.Parking was easy to find on a Tuesday afternoon. The test track drive (simulation) was lots of fun and much harder not to crash then it looks, and a car load of fun. It was reasonably priced.

My family loved this walk through history. So much more than cars! We spent hours here and could have spent so much more. A must see if you ever make it to the Detroit area. Went on a Wednesday. It wasn’t overly crowded and we were able to enjoy it without feeling hampered by too many people.

What can I say...I'm a Ford lover. My dad has always loved Ford as well. So going to the Henry Ford museum was on our list of things to see. It didn't disappoint. There is so much history there it's unbelievable. The presidential limo collection is fantastic. The Rosa Parks bus, and Lincoln chair is great too. There is literally too many things to see for me to list them all here. You can easily spend hours here. Even if you aren't a car person per say, come for the history. Also...The mold making machines are fantastic. I got a bunch of them. Kids and adults alike will love this place. The price for admission isn't unreasonable either. I took a ton of pictures while there. If you're on the fence about going to the Henry Ford museum...do it! You won't regret it.

There was so much to see we barely knew where to start, so we just wandered the exhibits and took it all in (and it was a lot). It was like getting little peeks into history. The huge 2 story machines can make a person feel very small, especially when standing in front of a monstrous locomotive. It fills the mind with wonder about what innovative, colorful, creative, productive, incredible things God has inspired men to create throughout history. Definitely worth a return trip in the future.

Very extensive Museum. Get there early. It took us about 5 hours with kids to completely exhaust the place. Seems to be very popular because the huge parking was almost full by the time we got there at 10.30 am. The highlight for me was seeing the original car that president JF Kennedy was assassinated in…I know, so morbid! And the original bus that Rosa Parks rode in when she refused to give up her seat.
