doesn't know what fin rot is. they are selling damaged fish saying their suppose to look like that. disappointed

I’ve been helped by Emily a few times now and will return to this petland specifically for her, as she has been one of the sweetest and most caring employees I’ve run into. She remembered me after meeting once, she always offers as much help as possible and remembers details about our conversations that most wouldn’t care about. This says a lot about her care and concern and I think she’s amazing for it! :)

Bought a beta fish from here and it died two days later my 3 year old was heartbroken. We took it back to have testing and we got another fish. The guy working the fig department was very friendly and helpful. The cashier on the other hand has a very foul attitude. She had long brunette hair and wasn’t polite to us was snarky and gave dirty looks. Hope this location can ween out unpleasant employees. Felt bad for the guy working there too she was rude to him as well.

They have crickets in pre-counted containers and most of them are already dead

Had the misfortune of having Emu Emily as a cashier. I had some questions prior to making my purchase. She was extremely rude and condescending. Clearly customer service is not a priority at this location. I made my purchase online instead where the sale price was actually given to me. Will not be returning to this location.

Worst store in the city that is selling bettas. Majority of the bettas were in terrible condition! Saw a few that were dead in the display, told both the store manager and an associate about the dead bettas. No remorse, just “ok we will fix that”.Go to another store if you are buying fish

Emily was a huge help to us with our new pet. She was knowledgeable and very friendly. Lovely new store in Seton.

I was excited to see this store open nearby and upon first glance they seemed to be actually putting effort in to care for the animals. However, typical of most big box stores, it turns out the animals are unhealthy and/or kept in incorrect conditions (chameleon pictured).Information provided by the store is dangerously incorrect (although to be fair, I think that's more on Petland themselves than this particular store). This sets new owners up poorly; potentially causing the animal to become ill or die in the worst case, or the new owners having to expend extra money to correct the mistaken information the store gave them, in the best case.The feeder insects, although from a good local company, appear to be left on the shelf all week without care given to keep them healthy and alive. I had to have multiple cricket containers combined because over half the crickets in each were dead.I did reach out to the store regarding my concerns with this chameleon and never received a response.

Best place we have found to buy Bettas. Only store except one other one that doesn't keep them in little cups. And only store that uses the auto water change rack. The other store the system is always off. But this one is on. So awesome to see that they actually care about these fish.Like any major store like this they seem to have younger staff that are still learning so their advice isn't always accurate but they are trying. They do have a couple people there that really know what they are doing and are awesome help. And the store manager is super nice.

Brought a dog collar back to the store after taking the tag off and throwing out the receipt (assuming it would fit) needed to exchange it for a smaller size and wasn’t able to understandably without the receipt/tag but the customer service was poor it almost felt like they were assuming I stole it meanwhile I brought my dog back with me to ensure I got the right size. Will continue going to Bone&Biscuit as their service is better and they are a local franchise partner.
