I honestly don't know why people complain about this site. It's there so you don't have to go all the way to Glenmore. So it's only open 4 days a week? It's 4 days you wouldn't have to drive the extra 15km. It IS convenient that it's open weekends and if it was open all week you'd pay more taxes!!The people are super helpful and friendly at this 'transfer station'.

Great staff, but they can't accept drywall, paint, or even yard waste with rocks mixed in. Pretty frustrating.

You know today is march 9 2023 and with my schedule i have to wait till april 7 to dumped my yard waste cause they are not open later. Not happy

Weird hours and days of operation. Closing at 3:50pm just screams of not wanting to pay staff past 4:00pm, why not pay them a little more and not inconvenience the tax payers who use the facilities?The guy who oversees recycling likely has to put up with a lot of idiots but by no means should that be an excuse to be as abrasive and aggressive as he is.07/22 Update: the guy is still incredibly unpleasant.

This place is an example of everything that's wrong in the world today not only do we pay our taxes And we have to pay here too too no wonder people dump in the forest it's all too expensive

Unbelievably inconvenient to be open only 4 days a week! If I am not there on the days they deign to be open I have to make a 100 km round trip to dump garbage!! This is definitely not environmentally friendly.

They are actually closed 10 minutes before the posted time here online. I arrived with only a very short visit's worth at 8 minutes to and no luck. Couldn't use the facility. Very annoying. They should post correctly!!!
