I worked here for 1 month with the Montreal team. There is only one person you will meet who is in charge and his name is Eric. He will lie to convince his workers to do a job and underpay them. The job is extremely physically demanding. Imagine lifting a 50-100 pound box for about 500-2000 boxes at a time for a flat rate of around $100. Those are the experiences I’ve had with this company. There has been a few days where I was able to make what would be enough to survive. If not for an additional income, I would have been f’d. There might be a select few who will make this job work for them, not sure how.

Hi ... I have recieved the employment letter from ECM.Cometed all the formalities, signed and shared all copies of policies and employment letter. But after that there is no response on how to do onboarding process. If anyone from ECM team read these review, please let me know the way forward. Not a good start though.

One of the best place to work at. I actually quit another part time job that I had because I am an International student so that I could work with ECM. There is always a day that comes with a below average pay but most days the pay is great. The team and the on sites are great, they understand how you work and gives you the proper locations. Its the best place to work if you are willing to work hard. I hope that with experience I would be able to have career growth with them.

I wouldn’t tell anyone about what ECM is, their company is a joke. how they handle people’s money is a joke. they have kids straight out of mcdonald’s managing people, when those kids can’t tell the difference between their hand and foot. I keep seeing them post Indeed ads and i feel bad for all the lies they tell. ECM is not a legit company to work for, you can find somewhere better to work, trusttttt me. it’s better to get paid on time, the correct amounts, rather than giving people the run around for a month. half of these reviews are from people who work there or manage LOL? fake reviews.

Appreciative for the introduction into the lumping business but that’s about it. A lot of politics going on in the company, if you aren’t on their hood side just know you aren’t getting work. No room for growth. Had guys that came after me get promotions even though I was one of their best from a unloading standpoint. A couple of these reviews are from family members of the owner. Thought the pay was good until I saw what was out there. Most other lumping companies pay better, don’t bother with this headache of a company.

Terrible and unprofessional staff, I applied for a position on indeed.ca and received an email from Simona Di Giacinto, stating that she would like to schedule an over-the-phone interview, I replied within a timely manner to let her know that I was interested and that I'd like to accept the interview, she then replied back and we scheduled the interview for Sept. 1st, 11AM. I waited for her call however she did not end up calling; I feel as if she didn't even have the common decency, nor the integrity to let me know that she was going to cancel the interview, rather than wasting someones valuable time by scheduling an interview while having no intention to even conduct the interview. Simona Di Giacinto negatively effects the face of the company, especially because she leaves a terrible impression on the employees; if employees don't want to work for ECM due to being turned off by the ignorance and lack of integrity displayed by Simona Di Giacinto, they will have no one to unload containers and they won't be able to make a profit, essentially Simona Di Giacinto will be hurting the company and shortening the company's profits.

I have been an employee of Express Container Management in Ontario for almost 3 years now and it has been a great experience for myself. I have been able to not only grow as an individual but also expand on my skill set and experiences over the years. The management and internal team are amazing people to be around very hardworking and always striving to be better throughout each stage of growth within the company. I have been able to meet various different people with a variety of experience and help them apply their expertise to warehouse positions throughout the GTA.

I’ve worked for ECM for five years and have experienced a lot of personal growth. I made great money as an unloader for about two and a half years before moving on to an on-site management position.Growth within the company is highly encouraged and achievable with hard work and dedication. My role began in the Ontario branch but I have recently moved to the Alberta branch to help develop their team and opportunities.I have met some amazing people along the way and am proud to be a part of the team!

We can't recommended this company in any light due to the acute truth of the reviews here and experiences witnessed by our Auditor. Specifically the practice of hiring on numerous candidates, promising them hours but after the audit, found out that they we're only hired as a backup. Such a waste of time and the shade is great here.

This job is absolutely amazing, they make sure you’re always happy and they also make sure nothing is going wrong at the warehouse you are working at. No matter what the problem is they are always on it, trying their best to get it fixed. The compensation is great and is definitely worth the time you give to this company. I would recommend this job to everyone, there is always work and it’s also a great workout. Some days I would make over 200$ In under 8 hours. This job has never let me down and I doubt it ever will. They are extremely hard workers and stop at nothing for your satisfaction.
