VSP Consignment

My most recent trip here was extra special! I inquired about pieces for my upcoming wedding, and Astrid from VSP suggested I come in for a shopping appointment. She created the most incredible experience for me! She curated a beautiful selection of white pieces and accessories based on my personal style, and even prepared some delicious refreshments in the private dressing room. Amazing locally baked scones and a beverage!I really appreciated the elevated service that Astrid provided, which I haven’t experienced at VSP before. Her incredible fashion knowledge and positive energy made the experience even better. I would highly recommend booking an appointment for any special occasion, or for personal styling needs!

Might be early to write a review after my one visit. However, I'm so impressed with the staff at this beautiful store which is deceptively huge and gorgeous. Shout out to Ava, Ariel, Astrid, Carolyn.....and a handful of other amazing, friendly faces. I look forward to more shopping and consigning clothes. Was a lovely first experience!

I’m liking my consignment experience by far. They are quick on response and that make me feel safe. I will say, you won a long term business from me!

VSP is the best designer consignment store in Toronto, selective and well-edited. As seller, they provide an easy and convenient process, responsive service, great photography and styling and good access to buyers online. As buyer, appreciate how thorough they are in their descriptions and photos, never overstating the condition of their items unlike some other local shops, which is especially important for building confidence for online buyers.

Be careful of ordering online from VSP. Two of my items came damaged, one was a sizable hole in a knit dress, and the other shorts with a broken waistband. Together it was around $150.Both items were listed as excellent with no flaws, when I looked closely at the 2 item’s photos I could see the hole/broken waistband. When I emailed for a return they said it was final sale even though they sold me faulty products. When I followed up they never emailed me back.I understand I’m buying second clothing, but to list pieces as excellent when I have to pay to have them fixed is ridiculous. If you plan to buy online try to look at the images closely for any imperfections they fail to mention.

Disappointed. There is no transparency in the consignment process. You have to keep checking to find out about the assigned prices. Items being sold without any receipts or paper work for you to see!I cosigned a new summer dress, at first they assigned almost half retail price, which I was ok with. I kept going to the store to see if my dress was on the floor for the customers to see, for a month and half and they kept telling me that the dress was still at the back being photographed for social media and the website. I checked, Never saw any photos anywhere. Finally one of the staff told me she and another staff member wanted to buy the dress. I went back there to check if the dress was sold a couple weeks after (this is how you need to find out if your item is sold, keep going there to check!) They said they had put it on sale, and sold it for a lower price than they originally assigned! No one informed me about the sale, and there was no receipt or paperwork! They paid me $45 in cash for a new “& other stories” dress that I bought for $300 last year. They are selling old Zara dresses for a more expensive price! This review is not about an extra $30 cash! It’s about honesty and transparency which VSP certainly lacks.

I had not so great experience few years back but I have to give full credit for the store now. Selection of items is amazing. Store is very well organized and every single person is extremely friendly and helpful. My hands down favourite luxury consignment in Toronto now. Now they need to open a new location in the East End and they will have 10 out of 5 stars from me :)

My most loved and frequented consignment shop to date! An Amazing selection of clean high end /unique /clothing brands at a variety of price points. Shoes from casual to fancy are an option for a variety of events. The available range of vintage/collectable/ practical handbags never disappoint. And are always on point. Why buy new, when you can obtain an authenticated brand name for less, plus save the environment /animals (leather) by reusing a previously loved item with a history of being someone’s past treasure.The wide variety of jewellery old and new always peaks interest. Be prepared to spend lots of time perusing the endless racks of hidden gems. The sales team that I experienced today were patient, professional, helpful and educated in their brand knowledge. A very positive shopping experience. Enjoy!

they have well priced designer items but the service leaves something to be desired. there’s a lot of staff in there all the time and they are always having personal conversations in front of customers. no, i would not like to hear about your upcoming trip and how you are going to party. also, some customers are obviously VIPs—they get more attention and care than you. just disappointing.
