Custom Shoes By Zapato Sanchez

I have now purchased three pairs of shoes from Zapato Sanchez, and would highly recommend them. My first were a custom pair that I had made in 2017 for my wedding. Julio was very generous with his time and patient with all my questions, and together we settled on a design that would suit my personality. It was a fantastic experience to have shoes tailor-made for me, and to be able to have input into what I wanted them to look like. More recently, I have bought two pairs of the Pedro shoe (burgundy and black) from Zapato Sanchez. Despite now living out of province, the staff at Zapato Sanchez were extremely helpful in answering all of my questions and in facilitating delivery of my shoes across the country. They are comfortable, stylish, and durable! I will definitely be returning to Zapato Sanchez for my footwear needs in the future.

CHANEL!!!I BROUGHT IN MY CHANEL BOOTS WORTH $2500 THAT I JUST BOUGHT IN NEW YEAR FOR AN ANTI SLIP SOLE. I’VE WAITED A WEEK TO GET IT AND SO EXCITED TO USE IT. THE SOLE WAS AMAZING AND SO HAPPY ABOUT IT BUT UPON INSPECTION OF THE BOOTS THE TONGUE WAS RIPPED AND STITCHES WAS OFF!!! I WAS SOOOO DISAPPOINTED AND SO MAD!!! HOW DID THAT HAPPEN THAT I BROUGHT IT FOR THE SOLE BUT THE TONGUE HAS BEEN TOUCHED???? THE SON OF THE OWNER’s REASON WAS THERE ARE SO MANY REASON WHY IT HAS BEEN RIPPED THAT I MIGHT HAVE PULLED REALLY HARD FOR IT TO BE RIPPED WHEN WEARING IT! EXCUSE ME? SO NOW HE IS BLAMING ME THAT I WAS THE ONE WHO RIPPED IT! THAT SHOE THAT WAS BOUGHT IN DECEMBER, I CAN STILL COUNT WITH MY FINGERS HOW MANY TIMES I HAVE USED IT AND I FOUND IT SLIPPERY THATS WHYBI BROUGHT IT IN FOR ANTI SLIP BUT THIS IS WHAT THEY DID! HE STITCHED IT BUT THE STITCHES LOOKED LIKE A GRADE 1 DID IT! THEY HAVE JUST RUINED IT BIG TIME! MY FIRST AND LAST GOING TO THIS PLACE!!! IF THEY CAN’T TAKE CARE A THOUSAND DOLLAR SHOE HOW MUCH MORE FOR A CHEAPER ONE!!! THIS COBBLER CAN NEVER BE TRUSTED AT ALL! COULD HAVE JUST BOIGHT AN ANTI SLIP FROM AMAZON, YES IT’S CHEAPER BUT NO HEADACHE!!!!THANK YOU FOR DESTROYING MY CHANEL BOOTS!!!

I had a great experience at Zapato Sanchez. The shoes are fantastic, everyone loves them and they fit amazing. The whole process was super easy and well explained. I will definitely be getting more shoes from ZS in the future!

Oh My Goodness!! We have the first bespoke shoes for my husband. He earned them because he was nice to me for 52 years! LOL. His feet are 2 sizes apart and regular shoes are very hard on him. We took him to see Don Julio. WOW, Don Julio looks like Geppetto! He measured his feet in every which way and turned out perfect shoes for the hard to fit man. Don Julio made suggestions on my ideal design (ha ha NOT) and my ideal choices of leather, again (HA HA NOT) and we have shoes that are perfect in every way. Must go and see Geppetto and Pinocchio AKA Don Julio and Don Rodrigo at WEM in Edmonton.

OMG. This guy is fantastic. I bought a pair of shoes in New York, and when I got home, one of the rivets came off so the flower came off. I took them to Zapatos Custom Shoes, and he actually made something so he could fix the shoes so the bead wouldn't break while fixing them. I will be back. I can't imagine why one reviewer said it was bad service. He was phenomenal with me. When I picked up my shoes, I also bought a belt that he shortened in 5 minutes. Never again will I go to a regular shoe maker.

Wow! I did not think a pair of shoes could fit so well and comfortable. A big shoutout to Rodrigo for my amazing boots! These will last me more than a decade. Couldn't be happier with how they look too, they definitely turn a few heads.They are masters of their craft and I have seen them go through the whole process of creating a pair. So much craftsmanship and attention to detail!

An absolutely excellent experience from start to finish. If you are looking to develop a new skill or just want to be a bit more involved in the creation of your shoes you must take the shoemaking class. Julio and Rodrigo are incredibly friendly and strive to include you in every aspect or as little as you want. By the time you leave you will have made new friends. These two are remarkable craftsman who know the secrets of their trade and develop wearable art. I cannot give them enough credit for the effort they go to.

We had the best experience with the purchase of these beautiful handmade shoes for my wedding. The shoes are such amazing quality, so well made and so very comfortable. I could not recommend this business more to anyone looking for the tip top quality. I will cherish these for a lifetime.

Recently purchased 2 pairs of shoes from the main man Julio. Unbelievable craftsmanship and quality. The unique colors and patterns as well as the softness of the leathers are unreal. These are an extremely high end purchase at a very reasonable price considering what you pay right out of the box.

Shoes made the way they should be! Beautifully crafted. They are both incredibly talented craftsmen. A beautiful shop!
