Flametech Heating

We had a gas log fire set which needed to be replaced. After considering options such as fireplace inserts we felt a new gas log set would be the best choice to fit with the ambience of our living room. It was difficult to find a service that would handle this installation. Fortunately, Ryan of Flametech was able to assist. Ryan provided options, came to measure/inspect the space and then booked a day for the installation. He and his assistant worked efficiently and the fireplace was installed in about four hours. Their work was neat, tidy and handled in a professional manner. My photos show the before and after with the Napoleon log set now in place. Ryan also followed up to ensure everything was working and to let him know if any issues at any time. We are very happy with the product and service.

I had Flametech install a wood stove for me in a small area. Ryan recommended one just the perfect size. I had to wait a bit for it to arrive as it was on back order but Ryan always kept me in the loop and answered my emails or phone calls promptly. Very professional all around.Highly recommend this company.

Ryan installed my new wood insert. He was very helpful and responsive from the time when I starting looking for one to when he finished installing it. He advised me on a suitable selection, responded promptly to all questions and was patient with my schedule - which went astray by a lot because of a major change in scope. I am rather sad that I have to write this type of review. We have used Ryan and Flametech Heating for our annual servicing of our two gas fireplaces since we moved to the Island in 2018. We have had very good service until this year but will not use this company again. After waiting a bit to get our service date this year (which was fine) Ryan came by early in the week to do the annual work on our two fireplaces again. This time however, after his visit our living room fireplace worked worse than before it was serviced. I contacted Ryan by email and twice asked him to please come by to check things out the same week. He replied that he was too busy and by the way it was a short work week. I then asked for a 1/2 refund of his fees and he said no. He also wondered why I was in such a rush? I then contacted the actual company who had installed the two units in the first place and they had a tech. out the next day and now things are working well. Sorry Ryan but a long time customer has gone somewhere else when this could have easily been looked after with a timely return call to have a look at things.

Thanks to Ryan for coming to check out and ensure my gas fire place was in good working condition. Arrived on time, and easy to communicate with. Will be in touch in the future for any repairs if needed, and yearly maintenance. The cats are happy to have the fireplace in good working order for the cold weather today.

Ryan helped us with a wood to electric fireplace renovation and although the plan needed to be adjusted along the way we are very happy with the outcome. One thing I particularly appreciated was Ryan's expert guidance on the correct solution for us and his responsive communication through the project.
