Wh have had Derrick do multiple tasks over time. He rewired the basement, did the lighting in the second bathroom, updated the fixtures in the main bathroom and replaced lighting in the family room. He was always professional and polite. He gave suggestions appropriately when asked. His work was always completed on time and he cleaned up after himself each time. His prices were very good. I will definitely have him back to complete our next project and have recommended him to many of my co-workers.

Derek at Amped Electric was the third electrician my wife and I brought in to give us a quote on our newly finished basement renovation. The first guy we brought in spoke to us in terms so technical it was like another language. The second person no showed the first day, was late for the rain check, then took a cursory look around the basement, told us what it would cost and left. We were discouraged. When Derek came to see us, he walked us through exactly what he felt needed to be done and why. He offered us alternatives, but never shortcuts. He was honest and direct, yet still friendly, and his quote was competitive with the other two. When it came time to do the work, he was on time, efficient and didn’t hit us with the little “extras“ that other professionals conveniently seem to stumble across only after they’ve started a job. If we need help with our electrical work in the future, we will only be making one call, not three.
