1st time coming to this location and everything was excellent...our server,Cassandra, was very welcoming and kind. The atmosphere was very comforting and the food portion was above average and the taste of it was excellent.

Had a great time at Swiss Chalet on Rutherford. My waitress was Jackie and she was very friendly and attentive. The food presentation was very good and taste and smelled delicious.

Took to long to get the food . I notice they called out a name the cashier gave the customer her food she notice it wasn't her order . She tried to call over someone the staff took about 3 to 5 minutes to come over to her so she could explained to the cashier it wasn't her order the staff worker didn't really explained to her. She just took the bag The staff went to the back to get the customer order came back and said here . No apologies. The customer was not happy. So when my order came up about 5 minutes later which I was waiting 6 minutes. They gave me my order I looked in the bag which didn't look right . So I went through the bag to make sure I got what I ordered. There was a little mistake . I received a small chicken sauce. Again no thank you from your staff . I will not go to that store again .

The dish was served cold, the chicken was tasteless, salad and fries were not fresh.Was the first and last time trying Swiss chalet.I would have prepared and reheated a basic dish at home way better.

Waiting 30 minutes for my order of ribs to get home and unpack a completely different wrong order. Sucha disappointment. Would not go back.

Service is horrible. Unfortunately I did not get the employee’s name because I was so flustered but The lady on the phone was so incredibly rude. Talking down to me and talking over me on the phone. I had an issue with a missing sauce and the restaurant would not take accountability for the mistake. Instead, they yell at their customers and say things like “are you going to let me talk now?” “Are you done talking?” And “do you not understand?” In a very vulgar tone.I would not ever recommend this location to anyone. There are other Swiss chalet’s with better service out there

It was my first time visiting this place. I had the new hand-breaded fish and chips. The place was very clean and well-organized with a lot of natural light. The service was great. The portion and price were reasonable. The fish and fries were 4/5. I think they can make a more uniform crust. Coleslaw was 5/5 but the Tartar was 3/5 (mostly Mayonnaise).

This was my first time at this location. Went for lunch with my mother. The restaurant was clean and the food was good as expected. What really put my experience over the top was the polite and attentive service from our server Cassandra. I also work in the customer service and hospitality industry and I feel like a lot of people can learn from her example. Will definitely visit again.

My family and I recently dined here to celebrate my birthday. The woman who seated us was amazing - she was friendly, accommodating, polite and asked us if we were celebrating anything even before we sat down. When I told her it was my birthday, she wished me a happy birthday and assured me the staff would do something special to help us celebrate the occasion (I assumed I'd get a free dessert).Unfortunately, the staff member who seated us was the only positive thing about our dining experience. The service was slow and we waited more than hour for our main course (while all the other tables around ours were served before us). Our server seemed as if she didn't want to be there that evening and was exceptionally slow and impersonal.We had a coupon we wanted to use and when I presented it to our server, she said it didn't apply to our meal (which it did - we double-checked). Before paying the bill, I asked our server if I could scan my CAA membership card so that my discount could be applied. She also turned me down and said that my membership discount didn't apply.Lastly, nothing at all was done by the staff to celebrate my birthday. There was no complimentary dessert.

Always an amazing experience with optimal customer service with our server Jacky!! She always made sure our little ones are happy and always goes above and beyond what is expected. The whole family always leave the restaurant satisfied and happy :)
