Blake was an amazing captain today! I went out with three of my friends and we had a blast out on the waters. Blake took good care of us and we got quite a few bites and some keepers as well. Would definitely recommend to others and friends!

The weather and conditions were absolutely beautiful. Blake made us feel super comfortable and was very knowledgeable. Would definitely come back for this experience next time we are on the island!!

Unreel Fishing Charters is fantastic and Blake is the best captain on the island!!!Our family did a 4 hour charter out of Departures Bay in July 2022 and had a fantastic time. Blake was seamless picking us up, navigating chop and getting us to the fish. He is a steady hand in the captains chair and a really fun person to fish with! Once we were out in the water he constantly had lines in the water and when the fish bit, he was often on the rod before I realized we had a fish. We nailed a 20 pound Chinook within an hour. He told us after another 30 minutes “the bite usually dies down for a bit around now then picks back up”. Like clockwork, another sunny hour on the boat goes by and we start hitting FISH. We released 5 and kept another 2, I barley had time to log my catch before another fish was on the line.ProsBlake is a very solid captain and knowledgeable fisherman.The rods, tackle and equipment are in top condition.The boat is steady and high tech so its a great ride.Blake knows how to get fish in the boat.ConsYou’re going to need a bigger cooler.

We had the most awesome experience with Blake @ Unreel Charters. Blake got us on the fish fast and often. We caught many fish including a huge Chinook and a perfect size keeper Coho that we got to enjoy for lunch. Unreel fishing experience with Blake. He was very knowledgeable and gave my entire group an A1 experience. If you’re looking for a great guide with a nice boat this is your guy! We caught over 60lbs of salmon and even had to throw a couple keepers back in once we hit the limit.
