*BUYER BEWARE*Do not purchase a home with streetside developments by Qualico if you value any of the following things:Timely repair- After purchasing our streetside townhouse in August 2020 we were finally able to move in April 1st 2021. Our final walk-through was scheduled 2 days before our move in day. Not only were there no deficiencies fixed before we moved in, nearly 1 YEAR LATER they still aren't fixed. We've had 1 fix tended to and they did such a horrific job it needs to be done again. 1 year later on a list of nearly 50 things NOTHING IS FIXED.Contacting streetside- Not only has nothing been fixed but they also refuse to even speak to us about the issue's. We have tried to contact them over and over again with no result. They never pick up the phone, or answer voice-mail's. If they do pick up the phone they claim it's not something they can deal with or that someone will contact you about it. Well big surprise nobody ever contacts you. So you rinse and repeat. Email, phone, home owner portal, you name it they won't answer it.If that wasn't annoying enough ... if you do happen to contact them about something that isn't their responsibility, you will get a nearly immediate reply. Streetside chooses to IGNORE their customers.Warranty- We are now only days away from the end of our 1 year warranty. Where does that leave us you may ask? We have absolutely no idea. We've received no communication from streetside explaining what that entails for the future of our home. So now we're left with a list of fixes a mile long and no fix in sight.If you value your time, money & sanity DO NOT PURCHASE A HOME WITH STREETSIDE DEVELOPMENTS BY QUALICO. Take your money and run far away in the opposite direction.

Dealing with service Q is an absolute nightmare if you want any maintenance work done , I have never dealt with a company so incompetent and unorganized it truly blows my mind

I have been living at Tamarack Condos for over 3 years now. Every year waterline freezes and my heat stops working when it is extreme cold.They put in a heater in my garage for the entire winter to avoid waterline freeze.I was promised to get reimbursement but i never got anything back from the company they simply refused to pay me and offered $40 as reimbursement later on.It is not just me, my neighbours are also having similar issues. House is made of cheap quality. No initiative have been taken to fix this. I hope new condos they are building are better. Please do your investigation before buying. i do not recommend this company.i usually do not post this but now i think it is too much. waterline froze fourth consecutive year.

Buyers be aware! I have listed multiple things to be fixed what ever must be fixed due to their insurance but the company’s compliance is nearly to 0.They expect you to adjust and wait as long as they decide and they decide what’s critical repair and what’s not.For example my bathroom tub faucet was leaking hot water and I was living like that for about a week until they decided to get a plumber. Hot water leaking, for a weak, the place is accumulating humidity and condensation, the recommendation from qualico was to run a fan in a bathroom? Really? I pay $500 for maintenance fee, place is fairly new,insurance is active-so why do I have to wait when it’s an emergency. It was not dripping, the water was running due to broken sealing/ring inside the faucet.My fault? I don’t think so, as it was installed wrong at very beginning.So conclusion is the quality assurance and quality control of materials are at very bottom with this builder. Nothing has been fixed and they won’t.Just gonna sell this place to forget the experience.Also, all appointments I have scheduled with contractors builder hired to do specific jobs- they could never make it. Excuses. Flooring- no material, fridge with appliance company was being fixed for a year. Door is splitting at the bottom, should be coming tomorrow as they rescheduled my previous appointment with out letting me know and I’m supposed to be accepting that as normal when I take a day off in the middle of the week as they don’t work weekends, so I can work weekends? Really?After the fridge was fixed andit looked worse than it was before repair, I’m scared to arrange any repairs as I doubt in professionalism of any contractors the builder hired . Very disappointed.I woke in retail and if I was feeding Canadian families like the builder provided insurance services people would starve or get poisoned from consuming bad or not fresh products.all my experience is critically poor starting from materials and ending with customer service.That’s honest review and I’m not mad at anyone but myself.

Hello,We have dealt with Arno from Warranty repairs section of this builder, I will state that him and this department are wonderful to deal with. I give them 5 out of 5 stars.But the builder, that is another story.We have given this builder ample time to correct a few items. We purchased the home in 2020.First of all, the home, overall is good.The neighbourhood is also good.My recommendation is to double and triple check the sales document, before signing.The items we have complained about, and still not actioned by the builder are below:We have a fence in front of the home, plus, we are an end unit, therefore, we can walk from the side of the home to the back, where the garage is. The builder, put up the fence, now we cannot get to the back of the home, there is no gate installed. A gate is required to get to the back of the home. In the sales documents, no mention of not installing a gate, but, the builder will not install the gate. The showhome had the gate by the way.The garage walls were not sanded and painted. We were not told that the garage walls were not going to be painted. We had a $6,000 credit, plus, I would have paid money to have the walls properly completed in the garage. Again, in the sales documents, no mention of the garage walls not going to be completed, this builder was not transparent.The tiles around the fireplace were not installed. We were given a fireplace brochure and we selected based on the picture, the picture had tiles around the fireplace. Plus, the mantle was a rich brown colour, different than the colour used for the baseboards. The builder, again did not advise us that there would not be tiles and different coloured mantle. We were ripped off, this builder charged us $4,500 for this fireplace, that looks to be only $1,500.There was no mirror in the small bathroom. We cannot believe we bought a home in 2020 with no mirror in a bathroom. Is it a shame on me or the builder for selling a home without a mirror?! In the contract, it never stated that there would not be a mirror in the bathroom. Their show home had the mirror, but no mirror in the bathroom.The light switch at the foyer is not wired properly. The light at the entrance should only turn on the front area, it should not light up the entire upstairs of the home, when the switch next to it, does the same thing. The light should only be for the foyer area.This builder is not transparent, again, please people, double check the sales contract. If the sales contract does not state that a toilet is in the bathroom, they will not install the toilet. Make sure that even the front door should be written in the contract, as if the front door is not on the contract, they will try to uninstall the door.The above items were easy corrections for the builder, who advised us, since they were not in the contract, they would not be completing them.The customer is not their first priority, it is selling the home, getting the money, meaning, conning the customer, as we feel we were conned with the items listed.Thank you for reading, I hope it will help a future customer.Take care,Rid.

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS BUILDER IF YOU WANT A GOOD HOME BUYING EXPERIENCE!! Bought our first home from Qualico. Was a horrible first time home buying experience mainly due to their terrible customer service, poor craftsmanship in the homes and the poor follow-up. The sales lady at the beginning, who helped us buy our home was great, super informative, helpful and empathetic. Beyond that, the customer service is terrible and I mean that in all other areas of Qualico. The craftsmanship of our home is of terrible quality. The follow-up to fix deficiencies in our home is lagging or non-existent. They brush off home deficiency issues like it's not their problem. Seems like Qualico wants nothing to do with you after you take possession. They definitely don't take responsibility for their actions. They either make up excuses or it's your problem. I feel like I have to be a nuisance and consistently contact the employees responsible for specific areas in our home in order to receive a response.Design Q, the interior design part of Qualico has TERRIBLE customer service. They're very unaccommodating, rude and lack sympathy. The secretary Lynn is exceptionally rude. They rush you through your appointment and have no consideration that we spend thousands of dollars on our home and would like to ensure that we're making the right decisions. The girl that helped us with our interior design of our home lacked knowledge and seemed very green. This was not helpful at all considering we're first time home buyers.All in all, stay away from this builder. The cons definitely outweigh the pros.

Hello i bought a home through your company and now I am starting a basement Reno in my duplex and opened up the vapor barrier and found a wet moldy wall . Had a friend come remove the mold. Found the came from the tivex paper underneath the water channel which cause the leak that’s fine fixe up at my own expense now I move to the front of the home a month later find mold and water and in the corner of the home when removing wet insulation found a 6 drilled hole in my wall not sealed up nothing I know I don’t have warranty because I bought before the new rules but come on a 6 in hole in an outside wall . Poor workmanship would never buy a home again

Was planning to build with this builder until I heard of their divisive and descrimnatory policy around the health choices of their staff! This is completely unacceptable! We will be building with an alternative company that stays in their lane!

Ernesto is the rudest person I’ve ever seen in the world. Asked for warranty repair, this guy is always rude and unwilling to answer any question, never show up on the scheduled appointment. Always change the appointment, finally when this guy shown up with angry face, blame everything on home owner, claiming he can’t fix or it’s not his fault. Why buying a new home with guaranteed warranty but this guy never guaranteed anything, or he said he could fix, or hiring a guy like this who alway blame? He is not competent of his job, why not get him fired.

This company is very fraudulent. I put an offer to buy a newly built home. It was pending financing. Unfortunately, financing was not successful, as such without my knowledge it was amended to say unconditional. My money is not being refunded at this time. Their sales guy, who is not a realtor told me my money will not be refunded. Such a shame on this huge giant of a company to withheld my down-payment. I will take this to the News Channel if my money is not refunded.
