Constructed in 1962, McConnell, Molson and Gardner Halls join Douglas Hall to bring together over 800 students in one neighborhood. This ideal location, referred to as “Upper Residence,” leaves the commotion of urban Montreal behind, providing privacy and a genuine feeling of community amongst residents. McConnell, Molson and Gardner Halls surround the Bishop Mountain Hall dining hall. BMH is strategically placed so that residents of all three halls can take their meals in one central location, further enhancing the sense of community. Nature lovers and those with athletic inclinations will love the combination of green space and easy access to McGill's athletic facilities that Upper Residence provides. Rent New for 2023! Residences also have a TV lounge, study room, and a games room. Rooms are furnished with a twin size bed and mattress, desk, chair, dresser, bookshelf, lamp, drapery, wastepaper basket and small fridge. The 3 residences surround Bishop Mountain Dining Hall. Students living in Upper Residence are on the Mandatory Meal Plan and have access to all the Dining Halls and On Campus Restaurants. The buildings each have a daytime porter and overnight security. A locked entrance with card reader access is needed to enter the building. New for Fall 2023: On-site laundry facilities included in the rent.
