Phoned Lucy's, ordered beer. Was told it would be about 30 minutes. Over an hour later, it had still not arrived! I phoned back, and Lucy told me on the phone she doesn't know where the driver could possibly be... Well 20 minutes later my beer finally arrived. I asked the driver what took her so long, and she told me she made it to my house within 20 minutes of receiving the delivery order. She even showed me her text message from Lucy, 20 minutes ago, stating this was an ASAP order that was forgot about! So Lucy forgot about my order, then lied to me on the phone, and then her driver told me the truth! AVOID THIS DELIVERY SERVICE.

One of the most unprofessional delivery companies I have ever had to deal with. I had hired Leave it to Lucy for my wedding to pick up the food and midnight lunch. I had spoken directly to the company and arranged pick-ups with plenty of time to have the food delivered out of town. Leave it to Lucy ensured me that she would have it picked up without a problem. On the day of the wedding, while we were getting set to enter the reception we received a phone call that the food had not been picked up yet (at this time the food should have already been delivered to its destination). After a phone call to Leave it to Lucy it became apparent that this company had a major issue, they had no idea where their driver had gone and could not get a hold of him/her. We received no answers as to if/when our food was going to be picked up. Eventually they sent a driver but did not send a vehicle large enough to fit the order (as we requested a van and not a small SUV). Once the driver realized the food wasn't going to fit in their SUV they took off and basically left us high and dry. Luckily the company that prepared the food for us, stepped up and delivered not only their food but the midnight lunch that was picked up at a separate location.Leave it to Lucy is a delivery service that has some serious flaws and nearly ruined our wedding by almost leaving 140+ people without a meal. The lack of communication when our issue had come up and their inability to keep us in the loop was beyond pathetic. You really let us down that day but luckily there are other companies in this city that were able to clean up the mess you made.

Ordered McDonald's for my children. The order was 45 minutes late, so I was outside on my front step waiting. Car pulls up, and I see dogs in the front seat. Driver gets out of the car, the car's interior lights turn on, and I see one of the dogs with it's head in a McDonald's bag with my kid's food in it! Since when does the dog catcher do food deliveries? Isn't this a food safety hazard? I should have known that when I called Lucy to place my order, all I heard in the background was dogs and birds. It sounded like a zoo! Probably smells like a zoo too. Most unprofessional company in Medicine Hat.

I do love this service, most of the delivery drivers are very friendly. I've been using leave it to Lucy for about 2 years now, and I still love them. Minor complaints I do have to share from over the years though; often orders take an hour or longer to arrive, delivery prices are extremely high, and also in my opinion nobody should be paying that much for a delivery fee when orders take over an hour... Before using debit as well, I used cash, and sometimes people didn't have the change, so I it was $20 and I had a $50, they would just have to take the $50 and keep it. A few instances where that has happened. Overall Leave it to Lucy is pretty great, I just wish they'd fix these minor issues, and also come to realize how much they overcharge customers, especially when they are expected to wait for so long.

Leave It To Lucy- I have used her delivery service dozens and dozens of times over the past 2 years or so. Lucy herself is very courteous, likeable, and one of those people that you can just tell is a caring individual in daily life. Lucy always answers the phone very courteously, is non-judgemental, and likeable. I've used her delivery service a million times, to get anything from cigarettes, grocery hauls, to food items or pharmacy pick ups. One time her driver even picked up some sample medications from my doctor's office. I will continue to be an avid customer. A big thumbs up and thank you, Lucy.

Horrible experience with her threatening to phone the cops" because I had not received my order in 2 hours. Her driver said that she was in Starbucks lineup drive through for 45 minutes. And the food I ordered from iHop wasn't ready. When I phoned iHop (as I know the assistant manager) my food was ready and had been sitting for over an hour. Leave it to Lucy lied to me and threatening me with the cops. I wouldn't recommend this company to take put my garbage."

Leave It To Lucy is my go-to for those times when I need my blood clotting disorder treatments from the hospital lab, but either can't or would rather not venture there myself. Their times for delivery are good, their prices are fine, and the deliverypersons are very friendly. All I need do is supply them with a signature for the lab personnel and they'll have my supply brought to me without any hiccups. Give them a shot when you need something picked up, and you'll likely become a regular like me.
