Very interesting place to visit. The guided tour was very informative and provided a detailed glimpse into the lives of the early settlers.

Went snowshoeing out here this winter and was amazed by the beauty. Needs a bit of upkeep but it's a neat place to visit with a unique background

We arrived thinking we had an hour but they had changed their hours and that was not updated on their website so we only had 30 minutes..the staff was very accommodating and the guide Dora, made sure we had a guided tour. She was amazing and very knowledgeable and gave us so much information in that short amount of time. You are allowed to check out the village when they are closed but the buildings will be locked up. I reccomend going during business hours and pay to get in...this is what keeps these places going!! If you do go when they are closed please consider leaving a donation in the donation box!

Amazing site. If you take the tour it is very interesting and you have a better understanding of the story. Book can be purchased at the tea house which was originally the old school in the area.

Dora was our tour guide today and she did a great job showing our family the site. The view is amazing and it's a great place to show little ones how life was when NL was first settled. The tour is dog friendly too!

The tea room was close when we visited today so we didn't need to buy tickets to visit. We didn't go very far to British Harbor, just hanging out at Random Passage filming site would give you lots to explore. The bonuses are the blueberries and jellyfish by the dock!
