This humble establishment is the pride and joy of a local (to Granville Island) saké brewer whom is a master of his craft. Flight samples of many of the saké varieties are available in small pours for a reasonable price, as well as some Japanese light bites (takoyaki, dumplings, edamame, etc), r-ice cream, amazake and other rice-based beverages (alcoholic or otherwise), and more. Seating is limited, and it can get cramped in a hurry, but this is a great little shop to sample some high-quality saké, and take home a bottle for enjoyment later. Kanpai!

The first Japanese sake maker in Vancouver. They are partnered with one of our favorite restaurant Pidgin and their products are profoundly amazing! I personally love B3 Apple Yuzi the most.

Had a great time sampling the sake here. I didn't think to try the food but it looks lovely so will swing by again sometime. Very friendly owners.

Their ice cream is excellent. Interesting deep flavor like nothing I've ever had! Sake sangria is great too!

As an inexperienced sake drinker this place was such a fun part of our trip. The owner spent a good 30 minutes walking us through sake - comparing it to wine and explaining what to look for in each style of sake. The sake here was tasty, we ended up buying several bottles to bring home. Thank you!!

A small sake shop at Granville that sells sake and some food & drink. The sake tastings are very good if you want to try out a little of everything - 6 for a set of 3 sakes which comes with a little explanation sheet of what's in it & what it goes well with. We ended up buying a sparkling one to go as well as one of their ginger ice cream scoops - sounds like it would taste strong but the taste was quite subtle and delicious.

Sake made from locally grown rice. Thought that was cool enough to try this place. It's a nice little spot to try some sake samplers and finger food after walking around granville island on a hot day. I'm not experienced with sake so have no clue if the sake is good or bad and, if the entire process is done locally. Service was good.

Amazing products, really informative and willing to help guide you through Sake tastes wether you are accustomed or not to rice wines. The Apple Yuzu Drink is my personal favourite, you can taste test bottles before purchasing and any questions about the ingredients or process are explained to you!Really enjoyed Artisan Sakemaker, enjoyed the wines most definitely and the people making it there are truely artisans.

Most people come here for the sake, but I come for the food! Tried everything unique on the menu because it all looked amazing. There is a Japaball listed on their menu inside but it wasn't on the laminated menu so I didn't know to order it. There are 5 small cafe sized tables outside. Each table has 1-3 seats. No indoor seating. Came on a Sunday afternoon and it was nice and quiet. I think most of the food isn't made from scratch in house but it's still pretty good. The chicken karaage has a soft batter coating and the chicken is very juicy. Probably my favourite dish. Crab gyoza didn't come with sauce like the photo but we did get one more than pictured. Relatively good. The rice cakes definitely feel like they are made fresh. The base is all the same and they only differ with what's on top. My favourite is between the cheese and the kimchi but I think all three were very good. I think these dishes are a good accompaniment to sake tasting but can also be a good place for a small snack. I would definitely recommend the chicken or the pizzas as a good snack.
