APL Towing and Recovery

Expensive. So I guess I should say your yard fees not towing costs. I am the owner of the dodge 85 a day is crazy 60 days 5523. Sucks when you trust people and they get your van impounded

Our driver Landon went above and beyond on a holiday Monday, after he had already had very long day as well . Safely delivering home our 40 year old classic car.

I made a mistake to call them for this I have to pay C$306.58/30 minutes for nothing because they couldn’t complete my job and I am so frustrated with their service team.Please bargain first and then booked otherwise you’ll be looser

Very satisfied with the service of this company. Called and kept me updated as to when the driver would arrive. The driver was kind, friendly and professional. Outstanding company!

I can’t possibly say enough good things about this towing company! APL Towing has been beyond fantastic in helping us deal with a car that has been in an accident! They have been professional and patient with all our inquiries! From the moment they showed up on the scene of the accident the APL driver was reassuring, courteous, and kind in the midst of all the chaos and us not knowing what was happening!From the first time we called them needing access to our vehicle (there were several), to them meeting us in the yard, and even when we showed up unexpectedly they’ve been amazing! If you’re ever in need of a towing company, please use them. They are worth it!

We hit a pothole on Highway 16 and our car got a flat tire and 2 bent rims from it. AMA informed us it could be up to 10 hours before the car would be towed, however it was only 3 hours until APL was on their way to my car. They were fast at getting to our car location and when they arrived to deliver our car, the driver was great. He explained how the drop off worked, he was very accommodating to where we wanted the car dropped, he made sure I felt comfortable being in the car when it was getting released down the ramp. Overall he was great to deal with and he was very nice to us after our stressful situation.

Absolutely the worst service ever. Called AMA at 5:53 pm and was told that it would be a 1 hr wait. Okay, understandable since we were an hour plus west of Edmonton. After 1.5 hr, called again and was told that the operator (APL) was very busy and and it would be a further 1 hr. After multiple phone calls to both AMA and APL over the course of several hours, and being told each time that the driver was enroute and would be another 30 or 60 minutes, we were told that the contractor was in fact still in Edmonton and they were down 3 trucks. When asked why, knowing that there was no chance of providing service within a reasonable time frame, they would not have passed the job into another contractor, APL informed us that they could not do that; that would have to come from AMA. AMA said they certainly would have arranged for another contractor, had APL let them know that they were having difficulty responding to service calls. FINALLY, 5.5 hours after the initial call to AMA, the driver arrived (with a passenger no less). The driver then took 2 hours to deliver our boat on the boat trailer to the destination address which was a little more than 1 hour away. Since that ordeal, AMA has followed up with an apology and a promise to follow up with APL; from APL - NOTHING. Avoid this company if at all possible!!

APL Towing went the extra mile to help us when we needed help badly, and it was holiday timing. Their driver was SO helpful and Prompt! He had such a nice, willing, and helpful attitude! We thought we needed a boost, which he did, but he then said that he thought that our alternator was the real problem. He waited to make sure, and sure enough, we died again in a few minutes, and needed the tow. He nicely towed us where we wanted, and made sure that we had our transportation sorted out, and had such a nice, good attitude throughout. Since we had AMA, even better! I would recommend this company anytime with such nice people! Thank you SO much!

Our car wouldn't start at all and we called to have it towed to a service garage. The driver of the tow truck quickly diagnosed the problem and we didn't to have the car towed after all. When we took our car to the service garage the next day they confirmed the diagnosis and our car was quickly fixed. We are very grateful for the expertise of the tow truck driver and highly recommend this company. Superb customer service!
