I especially appreciated the recognition of women and their contributions to life in an often harsh environment. The walrus skull and information about the history of the area was as very well presented. And finally but not least, the gift shop and friendly staff topped off an enjoyable visit to Cow Head.

What an amazing place. It made me feel like I was stepping into my grandmother's house all over again. Excellent artifacts, so much information about the area and very knowledgeable staff. And the crafts for sale are actually handmade, not cheep souvenirs. Great spot.

We had a quick visit as we arrived before closing. It was our only chance in a very intense schedule but it was very informative.The exhibits are well organized and curated. Books, postcards, gifts and hand made crafts from woodwork including hand-turned spurtles, shadow-boxes, handwork including quilts sewing, knitting and jewelry. Well worth a visit.

This Place Was AN Amazing Stop When I Visited. I Used The Double Axe Murder Information Here To Make A Haritage Fair Project On The Subject. I Also Bought a Book Here! Would Highly Recommend This To Anyone Passing Through The Area And Has Some Free Time.

Absolutely beautiful! The artifacts were gorgeous and so well kept. The gift shop had so many handmade items, including homemade gluten free fudge. All of the staff were super friendly, but Noelle was stellar. She was an absolute sweetheart and she went out of her way to answer all my questions.
