Mint Nails & Spa Lounge Deerfoot City

Came here for a girls spa day during our weekend getaway to the city. Our experience was less than special and the quality of work completed was unsatisfactory. We left after our pedicures with dead skin and the effort put forth during our service was minimal. Would not recommend.

Leyanis was really great. She is perfect for anyone looking to practice their spanish, looking for a quiet appointment, or someone who is patient with language barriers. Lucky for me, I speak Spanish so I got to speak with her through the appointment. Really great job on my nails and you can tell she really cared about doing her best work.

I've been coming to Mint Lounge for shellac pedicures and UV gel manicures for a little while now and have been loving the work they do. Jess V does amazing work with my UV gel nails, making them even, smooth, and not too thick. They look fantastic and are comfortable! Highly suggest taking a look at their instagram account to see what they can do and if you like their work! Rates are also very reasonable.

Dena was so awesome! I’ve only been there once before and it was with my sister, and she remembered me! I’m a nail biter and didn’t give her a lot to work with, but they look great! She even did a ‘test coat’ of my polish I chose to see if I would like it. The person that was at the desk (manager?) was awesome too! She was right on it when the phone was ringing, and gave me a tip about gel manicures for strength with weak nails. I’ll be back!

I brought my sister in, we don't get to see each other much so I thought this would be fun. They made us sit like 5 chairs away, so we sat in silence the whole time. The person doing my nails didn't follow the reference at all. And they came out quite terrible everytime I tried to correct them they just brushed me off. After I paid, they made a mistake" and upcharged me. Terrible would not recommend the obscene price."

Came in for a walk in for a manicure and pedicure and they were able to fit us in for a pedicure only.The place is super clean. The staff is super nice.Highly suggest calling ahead for an appointment.

For starters, my name was shortened after I specifically spelled it out for the receptionist when I booked the appointment. I don’t mind mispronunciation, but at least make an effort.I mentioned the water was too hot when I put my foot in and the water was cold for the rest of the service.I had to request that my feet be re-scraped twice, as a bad job was done initially, and even then I was not happy with it. The scrub was really non-existent, there was zero pressure on the massage, the hot stones were not even warm and after that a very cold, wet, stained towel was placed on my legs.The polish job was decent, thus the two stars instead of one, but then my nails weren’t cleaned properly.I was genuinely excited to try it out as I hadn’t had a pedicure in a while but I certainly won’t be returning. Considering the price and the aesthetic, I expected much more.

I don't typically review businesses, but I feel as if I need to so that other people are aware. I give all businesses the benefit of the doubt, but this time I was wrong. I came here to get french tip gel nails done. It was not clean or sanitary, nail dust and dried polish left all over the desks, reusing dirty nail files and tools (typical of these types of salons), and dirty sinks & brushes used to wash your hands. I left with an extremely uneven paint job, and cuts on several of my fingers from the filing. I am extremely disappointed with the outcome of my experience here. I will sadly not be going back.

The service that the ladies gave us was great, very friendly, fast, efficient.However, right in front of my eyes they used the same drill bit on me and then passed it to the lady beside to use on my mother - that’s completely unsanitary. Those sanding bits cost less then 1 cent, they shouldn’t be reusing them. As a nail technician myself, I noticed too many unhygienic things. My suggestion to Mint Nails, would be to use bags in your tubs, new tools for every single customer. I can’t justify $160 for two shellac pedicuresService = 5 starsCleanliness = 1 starI won’t be returning for that reason.

Booked a last minute appointment with Alyssa. I had broken 4 of my nails very short and they needed desperate love. She was absolutely amazing and my nails are beautiful! 100% would come back to Calgary just to have my nails done here.
