Watch & Jewelry Repair @ Hudson's Bay

May 28 2023 SundayOne of the worst experiences I've ever had was when I visited The Bay Willowbrook Langley Watch and Jewelry Repair. It's rare for me to give a place a one-star review, but this particular place truly deserves it. The lady working there was extremely rude and downright nasty towards me when I went in today. I needed a new watch strap, and that's when the nightmare began.Firstly, after I handed her my watch, she rudely demanded that I stand aside so she could assist someone else who arrived after me. Although I didn't mind letting her help the other customer first, her manner was impolite. She even instructed me not to stand near her counter when I was already a good 4 feet away. Moreover, she made a derogatory comment about my nationality, which I won't repeat here. I chose to ignore it since my primary concern was getting my watch fixed.Secondly, after she finished helping the other customer, she informed me that it would take a while to replace the watch pins because they were all mixed up. I kindly replied, No rush

I got my watch battery replaced and now there is a long weird piece of rubber sticking out the back side. I'll have to come back in to get it reopened and fixed - but if the person had just stopped to look at the watch before wrapping it or presenting it to me it could have been avoided. Works fine however.

$16 Dollars to size a watch??!! Exorbitant price in Hudson's Bay. The employee told me to come back in 25 minutes, however I stayed close to the area, she finished sizing my husband's watch in 5 minutes and sat there twirling her finger and staring into space. I walked up to her station to pick up the watch and she was startled to see me standing there. Very odd behavior. I won't be going back again. I'm sure there are other businesses that charge more reasonable prices. 2 Stars for quick service and putting the watch in a plastic bag until pick up.

Amazing customer service, nice lady who knows how watches and knows how to deal with costumers, I will be back anytime for the good service. Five stars *****

Overpriced battery replacement. I haven't tried to send in my Patek Philippe there yet for a repair but I'm sure it'll be overpriced....like my dignity

Pleasant staff member and battery easily replaced.The noise from the in house so called music was in poor taste and very very loud.Not a pleasant experience.

I wanted to change my battery for my watch and it was $18. For my second watch I just wanted to put the back on it cost $8. I went to another store and paid $15 to put the battery and $0 to put the back on for the other watch. This place is very expensive and not nice people!

Fast and affordable. I'll go here for all watch repairs moving forward.
