I am a big fan of road trip eatery gems and this one has to be one of the best I have been to in a long time. When you walk up to the Shack it doesn't look like much but they have done a lot with the space they have. The first thing you notice when you walk in is the to die for burger smell. The next thing you notice is that the staff lights right up to great you. Leanne was genuinely excited that I was there for the first time and helped me make my burger choice. I was dining alone and Leanne kept me company with excellent banter and wanted to make sure I had the best burger experience possible. Now this place is a bit on the pricey side but the quality is there and sometimes you have to pay for quality and I felt like I got my money's worth. Leanne made my burger just the way I like it. Being a bit of a burger buff I have a particular build style. I keep it simple, bottom bun, ketchup, mustard pickles, onions, for the top I like mayo lettuce and tomato. Oh and the diced dill pickles were wonderful. It was tough not to make animal noises while I ate. It's the type of burger you wish you could be hungry all over again just to fit in another one. Should you be driving by this place it is worth you while to time your hunger accordingly because this place is definitely a roadside gem that shouldn't be missed. Keep up the good work Scotty and give Leanne a raise, she's a gem too.

Probably the best experience you can have getting a burger. Staff was very friendly and the burger was delicious. Every burger is customized to you. The owner makes a point of talking to every customer and ensuring satisfaction. $1 from every purchase is also donated to charity. Stopping in here is a must if you are driving through.

The interior with the wooden tables and chairs, this was an unexpected nice touch. On the wall there is a Muriel on why they support Ronald McDonald house . The lady behind the counter was friendly and professional, While we decided what we wanted .She was patient with us picking our condiments! Do they have a lot of different condiments be brave and try them all!The burger themselves where THICK and juicy. And HOMEMADE yum ! The fries were homemade as well not extremely thick cut but still good.The milkshake was more like a smoothie not thick but the chucky espresso was very good with flavour.

Stopped by here with my little sister and had the loaded hotdogs. Best thing we’ve ever had! Amazing staff full of kindness and joy, can’t wait to make my way back to stop here again :)

What an unbelievable atmosphere and the burgers!!!! 10/10. The owners themselves are worth the stop, some of the most kind and generous people I've ever had the pleasure of meeting, not to mention all the work they does for cancer. Life long customer now. I can't say enough good things.

Excellent burger. They had some unique toppings that added a pleasent taste experience. I had never considered adding black olives to a burger before. If that's something you think you would like, I highly recommend adding them.The burger was big enough that I almost couldn't finish it, but it was to good not to.I will stop again.

Don't let the construction trailer outside fool you, inside here be gems!Summary: Good Prices, Great Food, Amazing PeopleCame in on Good Friday just thinking to pick up a snack to make the last leg to Beaverlodge after driving by and being surprised to see the open sign on!As I pulled up I saw the support for Ronald McDonald house and immediately knew I was buying something.Was greeted VERY enthusiastically by both owners and walked in to find a beautiful little cafe with an awesome menu. We hardly had to look at the menu as Scotty gave us some great recommendations right away.My wife and I immediately decided to sit down at the gorgeous wooden tablea and enjoy a meal instead of a to go snack. I got a No Questions" Burger and a Blueberry Milkshake. My wife got Mango Ice Cream ans a Farmers sausage hot dog and when she asked if she could have lettuce instead of a bun they ENTHUSIASTICALLY custom built her a beautiful salad-style bowl.The food was fantastic! Fresh and good ingredients. Burger was fresh

Absolute Gem, Must Stop.Everything about Scott's burger shack has a good feel.I had a breakfast sandwhich that hands down is the best breakfast sandwich I've had. Let me tell you why. The toppings. Toppings are fresh & flavorful, there is common & unique toppings making customization an amazing experience.And they have milk shakes and so much more. A must stop.

A must try!So many burger toppings! Be adventurous, try everything (that you don't dislike) on your burger and surprise yourself with the flavors that can explode in your mouth. Opened my mind and taste buds to a new experience of the beloved burger.Clean, friendly and supports the local community. Extra bonus on donations to Ronald McDonald House.(Poutine needs to be worked on... shredded cheese, not curds. Gravy not flavourful. No seasoning.)
