*Updated* They finally got a new modem to me after a lot of arguing from me on the Friday. At first, they were going to ship it, which meant it would not be at my home until the following week, but I threw such a fit that they had it delivered that evening.They then proceeded to call me - Tuesday the 23rd of March they called me three times in a row trying to get me to remove my BBB review, which I refused to do. They offered me $10 off my bill for 5 days of no service, but that does not reflect the time I lost not being able to work, as I work from home. They called today, the 24th, and said they could give me 50% off my next bill. The efforts put forth AFTER the BBB review was posted makes it clear that they don't really care about your experience until it's posted online for others to see.I will still be switching providers, as I do not wish to have this type of situation arise again and if it does, I would have have a provider I can rely on to fix it in a timely manner.When I started with YAP, it was great. Good pricing, reliable service - all great. Since the summer of 2020, it has gone downhill. The customer service has continously gone down hill, from delayed responses to no responses at all when you email. Those who answer the phone have no technical knowledge and if turning the modem off and on again doesn't fix it, then they need to send the ticket to a technician and that could be anywhere from a few hours to a few days before they can provide an update.I work from home and do online school, so I rely heavily on the internet in my home. My internet has now been out since Tuesday and they have been of zero assistance. I was supposed to have someone come to my house today (Friday) to see what can be done about the zero connectivity and they have not arrived during the window they provided me...shocker.I plan on switching from this company to a more reliable provider, even if it means I pay a little more. I would not recommend anyone to use the services provided by YAP, unless you're okay with doing all the troubleshooting yourself and waiting nearly a week to have a resolution (of course, mine has yet to come).

I don't write reviews as a rule. But I am going to make an exception today and recommend yap as your Internet provider. They have so many different plans on offer that you will definitely find one to fit your needs. I knew what I needed, and the sales rep was very accommodating and set me up on a plan that suits me perfectly. No extra bells and whistles, no hidden costs. Great work YAP.

I feel I must let people know about the fantastic service I get from YAP. I have been with YAP for 2 years, and the service I get hasn't skipped a beat, not once. The Internet service is always fast and always there. I have never had a reason to call support, although I am sure if they are as good at their jobs as the sales department they do a great job, there just hasn't been a need to call them so far. Excellent service YAP.

We have been a Yap subscriber for a year now, and I felt it was time to congratulate them on providing a fantastic service. We get an Internet and a TV package for a reasonable charge. The service never falters, no downtime for either one. The Internet speeds are as advertised on their website and you do get all the networks on the TV service. Great work YAP.

My experience with YAP has been beyond stressful. Internet service is a near necessity for many people today, and it is often extremely important that service be reliable. Every time I called YAP with an issue or concern, I had to do all the heavy lifting. They seemed like they wanted to help, but rarely understood the logistics of how my internet hookup works. I have self educated myself on cable, DSL internet, Bell vs Rogers, adapters, up/down load speeds, and troubleshooting tenfold because YAP didn't know what to do. I've had to be assertive about my issues, refuse to unplug the router and plug it back it" for the 3rd time

The Rogers technician from Rogers did all the installation work on Wednesday july 1st. He said to call YAP so they could turn on the service. I called three times a day since then at which the line was always on hold. Then they would always disconnect us after about 30 minutes into being on hold. Your online information says that your Ottawa office is open until 9PM. At any rate, we did get through once. And he said he would take care of it and he absolutely did not. That was on Thursday. A lady called us to see how the service was doing on voicemail. We tried to call back and got  the same treatment. Now, the office is closed on Saturday and Sunday? Ain't that special? If this service is not connected immediately/ I  want my money back in full, plain and simple. It really does seem like something fishy is going on. There has been no COVID interference. All this involves is giving me my phone number and turning on my internet on their computer. It's as easy as flicking a switch. It seems that there are no capable employees to flick switches and answer calls. It seems that or no one was intending to turn on our services in the first place. But take our money? Yes indeed. I want my money back if I am not going to receive anything that I paid for. My phone service. My internet service and  television services.. It really seems like I paid for a router that doesn't connect to anything. A phone adaptor with no phone number and tv that only works if the internet is working. I paid over $300 out of pocket; not to mention that I had to buy a Roku box and provide my own Coaxial cables.I no longer wish to receive your service; I obviously made a mistake in thinking your company was the one to go with. Seeing as I haven't been connected to your service, or given a phone number or watched a single television show. I am requesting a full refund on the services that I ordered. The equipment will be opened next week when you reopen. If your office is closed; I will return the equipment through a licenced currier. If I am given any trouble over this. I will have to try to take this up with Rogers as you are tarnishing their business reputation as well..

Had to leave this company. Took at least 4 visits to actually set my service up properly. The modem was changed at least 2x. Customer service isn't open weekends so good luck if your issues arise on a Saturday. Internet never worked upstairs or in front of my house. At one point I spoke to these guys every week. So glad I left. I no longer have these issues with my current provider. The headache is not worth it with these guys.

A huge shout out to YAP, we had an issue with our TV box, so we called customer support. The support guy walked us through a couple of common fixes, but it didn't work. After an hour of him trying everything in the book, he advised us that a new box would be shipped out express. The new box arrived the next afternoon, and I connected it up, and everything worked as it should. Thanks for the great support and the speedy repair. We only went one night without TV.

Just a quick note to thank YAP for giving me perfect Internet and TV service since I signed on a year ago. It has been a really great year with this company as we have never experienced any real bad difficulties in our connections. There were times when something seems to be wrong and I would call them up for support and they would really go out of their way to fix whatever it was that was not working well. Great services, great prices, great people, Thanks.
