Co-work recommended this place, food is good, price is fine.Only not really my type of breakfast though, old classic american brunch type of guy I am.

Probably one of the few western restaurants left in Richmond. It's a no frills diner with delicious pancakes. Don't bother with their sandwiches though, it's something you can easy make as well at home in 5 minutes.

My wife found this place online the week before we went to BC. We didn't realize it was a chain until we got there, but didn't matter. The food and service was great. very unique food. I recommend the hash(sausage version) & pancake, you put the hash on the pancake, and they will keep your coffee full. will definitely go back next trip up to BC.

3.5Service is always excellent - their staff is always very attentive. If it's your first time, order the dutch pancake.

I use to come here often when I was younger for the pancakes. I won't be returning anytime soon as they are way over priced. The plate looked like it has never been replaced. A small regular coffee and small apple juice was 10$! It's a no brainer

My Mom and I were very sad to find out this Richmond staple will be closing November after the long weekend, I believe! My family has been going to this location since before I was born (30+) Hoping that another one opens up in the area!!

We are from NewWestminster but after horrible service and bad portion sizes at our closest location we decide to venture out and find a new location. I'm so glad we did!!The hostess and waiting staff were friendly and inviting, always had the coffee pot at the ready, we never had to ask for refills. My hubby had the Eggs Amterdam, he said the eggs were cooked perfectly an truly enjoyed the hash-browns. I had an order of the Strawberry Cheesecake cooked to perfection, the toppings were wonderful. No matter what oddballs we ordered they were more than accommodating. This is our preferred location now and is worth the extra drive. The only reason this place has a 4 star review is parking is very limited.

My girlfriend and I used to go to the De Dutch location on Oak Street in Vancouver. We've been very well served at that location and have gotten to know their service and selection quite well. The Oak Street staff do an excellent job!Colour us surprised when we did not get the same service at the Richmond location. We had some free time after an Ikea run and stepped in for brunch. There was a long delay before a newly hired hostess finally came to inform us to pick any seat. She served us coffee and informed us that our server would be with us shortly.A few other tables came in and were seated and served, but we waited. More than half a hour later, the hostess informed us that the cook wasn't feeling well. Too bad, but where's the server? She was still working a group of other tables from start to finish. Once some of the those tables had finished, then the server started on the new ones.We asked for the bill to pay for the coffees, yet we still waited while other tables were being served. Finally the server arrived expecting us to order. No idea that we were ready to leave. We paid for the coffees (we shouldn't have) and left.Where was the manager at this time? Why wasn't there another server working? Why were we charged for the hour-long coffees?
