As a customer since the 90's I have to say there no better place to go for rc's. The experience and knowledge always has been a reason to go back. Pricing is very competitive. Owner is very friendly and always has been no matter if you buy or not.

Great place, elan took the time to explain everything to me after having looked at options. Definitely my go to place for my rc car. Thanks

My son was having problems with the battery for his RC car, so I took it to Hobbieville for them to have a look. They identified the problem and fixed it in a few minutes, saving me on having to buy another expensive battery. Great service!

Great experience. I bought a battery and charger for a RC car bought on Kijiji. I got what I needed and even more: a car check, some advice and a nice chat while soldering the battery adaptor. I recommend and I will come back to this shop.

Ohh where to begin! My friend I went to Hobbieville to purchase two Heli-Max AXE CPv3 r/c helicopters. The guy (Elan) was nice enough when selling the helicopters. After getting the helicopter home I had noticed that the box had already been opened and that a charger was missing. The second helicopter that my friend had purchased was in good working condition.I called Hobbieville and explained to them the situation. I was told to come into the store to check. After meeting Elan and explaining that the charger wasn't there when I bought it responded in a very rude manner and suggested that I might have stolen it. He quickly recanted and allowed me to use a spare in the meantime. After finally getting the battery charged (and reading all the associated instructions/dvd) I powered on the transmitter and absolutely nothing happened. I played with the throttle control a little to see if it would do anything. Nothing. After 10 minutes of trying the helicopter began to respond erratically. Unfortunately the rear rotor broke due to the erratic behaviour caused by the faulty tx/rx.I again called Elan and explained the situation. I was told again to come into the store (3rd time in the store - which is 15km's away = 90kms driven now). This time he was very volatile yelling at me that I had broke it through misuse. I left my helicopter with him so he could investigate. Turns out my tx/rx unit was misbehaving.. This was fixed after approximately 6 weeks of waiting. I was also charged an extra $25 for the piece that broke (rotor) even though it was due to a faulty, used, incomplete helicopter. After the helicopter was returned to me, supposedly fixed, I notice that my LiPo battery no longer holds a charge. It was supposed to be brand new. Not sure what happened. Anyhow, I'm done with this place. Will never do business with them again and suggest others steer clear as well. I now deal with an online Canadian hobbie store who are very very good. thanks for reading. .

I hope this store closes with that type of service, i don't want any people that are new to rc machines quit that enthusiast. Mr. know everything about rc is super rude and is nice to you just to take your money. The tips that he gives you is tips to make your rc get damaged over time so you can repair and change parts there and pay them.

I bought from here a couple times now I would say they are really fast with shipping your items. They got one of the best prices on trading card compared to other stores. I’m definitely gonna buy from them again

wow ! Hands up for this lovely gentleman.. he knows what he is doing , he loves what he is doing .. he took care of my nitro engine monster truck which was not running for the past 7 years .. it only took 1 day for him to set it up .. he has quick solutions to all possible problems .. if you are having a rc car/plane that’s the place to go .. prices are reasonable, good service costs, don’t forget .. just give him a try and you won’t be sad .. thank you again

I discovered this hobby shop through a musician who happens to be a transit enthusiast like me. This musician suggested I visit this shop to find solutions to problems with trolleybus models I had purchased two years ago. Though the shop representative couldn’t resolve each problem, he was able to fix the model’s double wires and suggest solutions to correct errors such as wrong lettering and transit errors in the wrong places. The trip to the hobby shop was worthwhile—and the representative was extremely cordial.I’d definitely recommend this hobby shop to anyone wishing to purchase models or have them checked by a professional.

It is an absolutely great experience every time that I walk into this shop. Elan is very knowledgeable and shares his advice with anyone willing to listen. I go there to buy shocks or batteries for my rc cars and can easily spend an hour having pleasant conversations about anything and everything.
