Make A Difference Rescue of WNY

We have been looking for a new dog to join our family after a 6 year hiatus. I saw the MAD rescue organization and knew it was where we would find our next dog. We found Brandy, now Ricky and picked him up the day after he got to NY. In just one day with us, he is adjusting well and has been a great addition to our family!Thanks to the MAD dog rescue and their mission!

We got our Dog Charlie from MAD Rescue a year ago! Thank You MAD Rescue for saving our Dog from The Streets of Puerto Rico. Jen and her group are wonderful.

We got our puppy Max from this rescue. Wonderful people and professional. He had all his shots with detailed records and they even gave us a goody bag of tons of treats, collar, and other freebies like a booklet on puppy care. He is now training to be a therapy dog. They had quite a few to choose from with great dispositions.

Just brought home my new puppy from here. Jennifer was so responsive and sweet. The puppy is everything I could ask for and the rescue is so well done.

What a great place. We got our fur baby Dunkin (formally Snickerdoodle) at MAD of WNY. Rescues from Puerto Rico. Very knowledgeable and professional.

We have always had purebred dogs, but knew we wanted this dog to be a rescue. We found our wonderful 4 month old puppy on Petfinder. Filled in an application to MAD Rescue not sure what to expect or if we would even get a reply back. Jennifer totally exceeded all our expectations.We learned our soon to be family dog was a Sato (street dog) puppy flying in from Puerto Rico at the end of the week. Jennifer did a great job answering all our questions and keeping in contact with us through the entire experience.When we went to pick up Monty at the end of the week we could not have been more impressed. Not only is MAD Rescue housed in a wonderful clean country location, but Jennifer really took the time to make sure all our questions were answered and that we were a good fit. She also provided us with Monty's full vet checked medical records and an ample supply of puppy food. Everything had been already done neutered, Rabies shot, Distemper/Parvo, deworming treated (as a precaution). We did take Monty to our Vet, just to make sure, and he received a clean bill of health.Honestly, the adoption/rescue fee is extremely reasonable for the amount of care these dogs receive to make sure they arrive healthy. On top of everything, you know you are providing a home for a dog that really needs and deserves your help.Thank you Jennifer and MAD Rescue for helping complete our family and helping loving and deserving Satos in Puerto Rico find their forever homes, too.We Highly recommend contacting MAD Rescue if you are ready to add a make a difference dog to your family.

My family had a great experience with MAD Dog Rescue. We actually put in an application for a different dog that had already found a family, but the rescue took the time to still read our application and found a dog they thought would make a good fit. We fell in love with him almost at once. The team was friendly, transparent, and easy to work with throughout the entire adoption. They were happy to answer our questions too. Once the dogs have made the trip from Puerto Rico, they stay in a cozy shelter and are well taken care of by the lovely staff. When we took our new dog home, it was apparent that somebody had taken some time with him to start training during his time in his foster home. They also provided us with all of his vet records since he was found (more than two months worth). I would recommend this rescue to any of my friends and family. Thanks MAD Dog, we love our pup!

A wonderful place to adopt homeless dogs from Peurto Rico. The adoption process was seamless & I couldn't have been happier with the care & treatment my puppy received, from the time she was rescued in Puerto Rico to the time she spent with MAD waiting for me to take her home.
