Typically I have a hard time at any medical centers, I feel like a number not a person. This place was beyond any expectations I could have imagined, and rarely I feel compelled to leave a review. The receptionist set the tone as soon as we walked in, then the anesthesiologist met with us to explain the initial process backing up the same tone the receptionist set, then the care nurse for our son, then the surgeon! I'm going to run out of words here but wow just wow, amazing people. All of them had a very nurturing and genuine caring energy to them that made me feel more comfortable then I ever had at any medical office! This was extremely important as the procedure was for my son. If you go to this place be aware you are in great caring hands. You guys blew us away from the moment we walked in. Keep up the great service and care that you do!

I just had a surgery at this facility this morning and I cannot say enough good things. I met a lot of people, but nurse Jenny and Joanne made my day. The facility is nice, simple and clean. Everybody who I interacted with was very lovely. They were dedicated and thorough and I could not have had a better experience.

On June 15, 2023, I had my second surgery at Riverview Surgical Center. The first was on April 4, 2022. If the first time I put 5 stars in the review, then the second time even 1 star is a lot.It's all about the anesthesiologist who was responsible for the intravenous sedation during the surgery.On 4/04/2022, the anesthesiologist at my surgery was a real professional who provided me with a completely painless sedation and a comfortable stay in the operating room throughout the procedure. This is exactly what a doctor should be like, whom you trust with your life during a surgery. Unfortunately, I forgot his last name, but he was a model of professionalism and compassion for patients.On June 15, 2023, the anesthesiologist was Dr. Robert McTaggart-Cowan, with obvious sadistic tendencies, and respiratory therapist ( trainee). My experience was terrible.When I was laid on the operating table in the operating room, my hands were tied and Dr. McTaggart-Cowan, without my permission, allowed his trainee to poke a needle for 5+ minutes into my arm, looking for a vein. At first I endured, realizing that future doctors should also study, but my patience gradually ran out, tears flowed down my face. I said I'm not okay, I'm in pain and I can't take it anymore. The doctor laughed it off, and when I asked to stop this mockery and tried to free my hand, he yelled at me, blaming me for not having veins. He held my hand while the trainee respiratory therapist continued to prick me with a needle. My blood pressure rose and I could hear my heart pounding. The nurse wiped away my tears, and anesthesiologist, without a single word of sympathy or empathy, continued the painful procedure, joking and clearly enjoying the process.Ultimately, they hit the vein, but I was already on the verge of losing consciousness.I can hardly forget this, as I received both physical and psychological trauma.Thus, Dr. McTaggart-Cowan undermined the excellent work of the entire wonderful team of Riverview Surgical Center.Draw your own conclusions.

My son had dental surgery done recently and the entire staff were just so amazing! Every one of them were very friendly, polite, and willing to go above and beyond to make sure my son wasn't scared and that he was comfortable. I can't say enough great things about our experience!!

I hate to see the inside if this is how they treat the ouside with there neighbors. I live probably 50 feet from them in a Seniors building. Always a problem looking out your window with garbage all over. When they park in front of there garbage can all the time the driver can't empty. This is a constant problem here with them and the garbage. But they don't care.

Update: no real follow up. I want to add the surgeon did a decent job, however he is only one person of a large team.Had surgery here and wouldn’t recommend it. The counter staff are polite and inside the clinic is clean. However the entire surgery procedure needs a improvement. Told surgery 10:30 arrive have surgery noon ish, you are barely placed on the bed before numerous people start proding at you.Series of issues at surgery, recovery has been terrible due to the infection I received. Numerous other people I know who had surgery the same week are dealing with the same issue. Wrong gauze used (as per other medical professionals at the emergency room) medications because I am allergic to a variety get told to do extra strength Tylenol and advil.Follow up calls they don’t listen, when trying to explain pain & what I had to do just to get relief.

Kudos to all the team! My daughter was there this morning. Truly appreciate all your help from start to finish specially to Dr.Lee,Dr. Hughes, to Cathy and other staff member I didnt get her name(Chinese lady if Im not mistaken) thank you to all of you.Highly recommend!

The team that assisted with my Surgery on Mar 18 2022 was truly wonderful. Melissa was my main nurse and showed kindness and care and was very gentle when I came out of anesthesia. I was very nervous and super loopy after the procedure and They all made the experience comfortable for me. A+ team that day and i am so grateful.

My son had dental work done last Friday and I must say that we were impressed by how they handled him. From the moment we stepped into the clinic the staff had all been warm and very professional. From the front desk staff to the post anesthesia care nurse, they answered all our questions and made us feel comfortable. It is not easy letting your 3yo undergo general anesthesia just for a dental procedure. But the way things went, we were at ease that our son was in great hands. Dr. Cholette and Dr. Rasic took really good care of our son and did an excellent job on his teeth. Thank you!

I had surgery at this centre and my experience was amazing. Everyone was very kind and professional, the place was spotless. Everyone from intake clerks, surgical nurses, recovery nurses, anesthesiologists and my own surgeon were fantastic and made you feel confident in their abilities and 100% at ease. They followed up with me a couple of times the following week. They made me feel very comfortable. I would highly recommend them, they are true professionals!
