I used them a few years ago and was pleased. In the fall of 2021 I got 4 quote on a large tree in middle of back yard and theirs was one of the two most reasonable again. And 2 would not even come to look. They removed the tree with a 40 foot boom on a truck without needing to climb nor tear our fence apart.Other quotes were 300- $400 more and no boom truck and would not take away tree trunk and limbs. Employees were polite and professional.

Pretty frustrating working with this company. I was quoted a price that I accepted, waited 3 weeks for them to set a date to remove the tree. Did all the prep work which included moving sheds across the yard so it would be easier for them to complete the job. On the day of the job they decided it was more work and left. Had to wait for them to re-quote the job (at a much higher price) and then wait a couple days before they actually completed it. Would have gone with a different company from the start if I knew this was going to happen. At that point other companies were booked for a couple weeks and I couldn't wait that long to put the yard back together.The upside is the arborist who took down the tree did a good job.

Very impressed with this crew. The city outsourced them to do our boulevard elms, and they did a fabulous job. From parking notices in a timely way, to fixing the last crews shoddy work, attention to detail and safety, and the best cleanup we've had in over 30 years, I would recommend thier work to anyone, and they're going to be my first call in the future. Great job!

I contacted this company to take a look at 7 fruit trees that I have in my yard. I was looking for an arborist to come out and consult on what I could do with the trees in general and was more than prepared to pay for that service and expertise. I was emailed and advised that someone would be in touch in 7 to 10 business day or less (and they even bolded the less in the email to empahasize). A week went buy then on the 9th day which happened to be a Thursday I followed up with an email and was advised that they were experiencing heavier than usual calls etc and that someone would be in touch early next week. To me early next week means Monday or Tuesday, which by then would be two weeks after my original contact. On Tuesday afternoon I started to contact other Arborist/ Tree care company's. I now have one booked for a week from now. It would have been nice to have been notified earlier that the 7-10 days was going to turn into 14+ days (let alone me having to call them back to find out what was goin on). I wouldn't have wasted my time waiting for this company to actually show up. Don't tell potential customers a date that you can't live up to just to string them along. That's a lousy business practice. Feeling a little annoyed.

Rather disappointed with the work done, but in evaluating the entire experience, it was probably the customer service telephone contact point that was the main issue. We were unable to be at home at the times available for on-site quotation. The team arrived promptly to assess and provide a quote. When we called in to clarify certain details prior to signing the contract, the representative assured us of certain details, and that the work would be completed within two weeks. We called back after about three weeks and were very abruptly dismissed. When the work was completed, the certain details that were clarified" over the phone were far from what was actually completed. We are disappointed in the lack of administrative customer service that was most likely responsible for our dissatisfaction."

The workers did an amazing job and they get FIVE stars. The company appears to be so badly micromanaged from outside of Edmonton that the poor little Edmonton company really cannot do very much other than the original estimate. I give the company management itself ONE star.

Accepted Arbor Care offer for stump removal and tree planting in September 2021. It's now June 2022 and I'm still waiting for service. Communication has been minimal. I have received one response saying the delay was due to labor shortage and depleted supply of trees at nursery, and the latest claim was their equipment was under repair. My other plants, remaining in pots until such time as they can be planted in the same flower bed as the tree, are now dying.

This is the second time we have used Arborcare. The first was for major trimming and removal of a huge branch from a mountain ash and removal of a broken branch from a Dutch elm tree. This recent use was for removal of another mountain ash. In both cases the job was done with maximum efficiency and minimum damage to surrounding foliage/garden plants. In both cases the crews were very personable and managed to complete additional tasks that were requested by us to improve the look of the finished product. The tasks were completed in a timely manner. We also appreciated the 10% seniors discount. We will continue to use Arborcare and recommend them to other people.

We just had 2 large elm trees topped and trimmed (at least 35+ years old) This is our second time using ArborCare and well continue using them. Excellent customer service and great workers on site.Prices are very reasonable.Thanks for the great job...

I have used Arbor Care for years and the service is always good and the staff very friendly. I had a tree removed today and the crew that came were so nice and very efficient. They protected my windows(just in case chips might hit them), they were kind enough to cut stumps in various sizes for me to use in the yard as features (to hold planters etc.) and to cut two stumps the same size for me to use to make a bench. They also moved the stumps into the backyard to (hopefully) keep the stumps from being taken and used as firewood. The cost of removal was reasonable and if I need any work done on the remaining tree I will definitely be calling Arbor Care.
