Everything from the food to the service and seating was fantastic. I ate outside because I had my dog. Each outdoor seating area has a dog dish with water and a nice private space where you're sitting. The service was fantastic and the food was delicious.The bruschetta was perfectly toasted and was very flavourful. The war won ton soup had a really tasty broth and lots of great stuff in it. All in all a wonderful dining experience.

The food and service was super slow. The seafood pasta was overly fishy, even for seafood pasta. The 6oz STEAK with mash potatoes and veggies was tasty however.

Rail & River Bistro
Visited Fort Langley Village for the first time last week and went to the Rail & River Bistro. Comfortable and relaxing spot to sit outside and have a few drinks or a meal while watching the people go by. Even our dogs were welcomed by a fresh bowl of water by each table. The food was fantastic and the service was great. Prices are competitive and a good value for the quality of the meal. We will be back.

The food was not impressive, we had prawns and yes it was happy hour, but for $9.50, they aren't worth it. It's a great location, to bad they weren't able to open up the outside door patio facing the street instead of the blazing sun side.

Had a lovely lunch. Table order the brie burger, the power bowl, and the Woodstock sandwich. Sandwich, we requested chicken added, which was forgotten.Daughter was starving, so started eating her sandwich, and by the time our server came for a quality check, the sandwich was gone! We informed our server, and within a few minutes, a whole new sandwich meal appeared!!Huge well done" to the manager lady who sadly was being verbally abused by a pair of rude dine n' dash customers that should have been physically removed!!"

We went on a Saturday lunch to a nice place by the river in Fort Langley. We sat in the covered patio. Nice ambiance. I had the brie burger which was absolutely delicious served with the bean soup. Prices were reasonable. My husband had a Quinoa salad with blackened chicken which he enjoyed. This place has an attached pizza restaurant on the side as well.

Awesome dinner! Noah was great. There is also takeout or order in pizza that looked delicious. Fish and chips, Ginger beef, and beet salad were all excellent.

I loved this place! Besides the beautiful layout and the amazing staff the food was insanely delicious! We had mussels and it was perfectly cooked. The bree burger was the best burger I’ve ever had in my life! (11/10). The orange stir fry was good too!Thank you!

Service was aces. My waitress was professional and courteous. However, the chicken salad I ordered was a bit on the small side for the price. The 1 chicken breast appeared to be filleted down turn length and I only got the half of the breast. It had a whole 3 cashew nuts and 2 cut in half cherry tomatoes. The dressing was great but again, $24 bucks was too much for What was served. I'll skip this place on my next bike ride.

For an honest review, read this: I live in Fort Langley. I so wanted to love this place, as the location is great along the river and its just a short walk from our house. My standards really aren't that high, and I only write reviews when the service/product is completely amazing, or completely horrible. Unfortunately in this case, its the latter. The drinks at River and Rail are horrible, the food is tasteless, the servers there are rude and pretentious, and its overpriced. Like if I'm paying $20 for a double cocktail, make it a good one, not a glass of water down foam. The Poke bowl was so dry and tasteless that it was nearly inedible. When I asked for a little bit of sauce, they charged me for it on the bill. The whole experience was HORRIBLE. I would have gave them 1 star but I think Google ignores those. Don't waste your money, and ignore the 5 star reviews, as they're likely friends of the owners. There are lots of WAY better alternatives in the Fort.
