Wally's Family Restaurant
I hate that there's so many comments complaining about the outdated decor. My favourite part is that it is not another drab modern restaurant and is very nostalgic. The food is always top notch and great prices. Makes me wish I lived closer but I always stop in when in the area.

Retro with Shockingly decent foodFirst off service was amazing, super friendly staffThe food was good, it's what you think it is but a little better lol, the dishes, cups & forks were clean, didn't see a bug, didn't see the cooks miss handling food,I would definitely say you can compare it to dairy freeze or apache burger.... not as good but if your in the area and don't wanna drive to them & there's nothing else then definitely come hereThe Decor " definitely needs Tobe updated and degreased but if you wanna know what a restaurant looked like back in the day we'll you found it

Placed an order lastnight for a chicken breast on a bun with poutine. It was absolutely disgusting. Cold, soggy and the sandwich just looked gross, didn't even have a bite. Never will I order from this place again!!

This is an old school dinner that has been around for years. I used to come here for lunch in highschool. I just came back to the area and brought my family to enjoy. It still looks the same and ohhhh man the wings taste the same too! Brought back such great memories. My wife loved the wings. Brought leftovers to my parents and they asked for more. Looks like we are going to come back a few more times before the new development takes over this beloved neighborhood dinner.

It was a wonderful experience. I’ll give it 5 stars but realistically I’d take 1/2 a star away for the dishevelled seats. Looks like it could be renovated a bit.However, the food was amazing! I was working nearby and craved some breakfast for lunch. I was not disappointed! Excellent price for a big breakfast. Everything was hot, tasty, and fresh. The staff was friendly and welcoming.If you’re in the area, I definitely recommend checking it out!

This is a place I will always have something good to say about. Although the prices have gone up over the years, which is obviously due to inflation, the food quality has never changed. Unlike many other new restaurants, Wallys portions are always reasonable for how much you’re paying. And the man cooking up at the front is always so kind and friendly.

We tried this place recently for the first time because it has decent reviews, but the food was was below average and served cold. The decor hasn’t been updated for decades and it doesn’t look or feel very clean inside. The prices are lower than your typical breakfast restaurant, but we ended up leaving a good portion of food on the plate so it’s not worth the money.

We went for a late dinner solely based on the decent google ratings, but ratings can be deceiving. Food was bad, poor presentation and bland tasting. Chicken Sovlaki plate costed $20 which was a complete rip-off given that the food was not good at all. We were constantly worried about falling sick due to the dirt around the restaurant and ended up throwing out most of the food. The place is quite old and not maintained, but that’s not the problem. Some of the seats were nearly broken and all the seat covers were very dirty and stained. If the seats are so gross then I can’t imagine what’s happening in the kitchen.

First time visit- quick service, excellent customer service, and Good food.Ordered a hamburger fries combo for 15$ including tax; amazing price! Meal was very filling , although I was upsold a homemade burger- I felt it was lacking a distinct punch to my palette. I’ve tried many homemade burgers to compare; and this fell a bit short to my expectations. The interior seating had cloth covers which was not a big issue for me, but I would hesitate to bring a date imo.The restaurant was busy at 1pm, on a Tuesday: perhaps I’ll try another menu item.4/5 stars for overall lunch dine in experience.
