Visit May 29, 2022. Relatively new (December 2021?) location South end intersectionof Barrie at Big Bay Point Road & Yonge Street. Mobility impaired accessible. Excellent and wide range of buns, breads, savoury and sweet baked goods. Nicely organised store area, clean and well lighted. Friendly, knowledgeable staff. Fresh, tasty and reasonably priced, but perhaps a bit more expensive than (the lesser quality grocery store products).

I went there this evening. This is the third time I have been offered something for free. Today was a peach scone. it was absolutely delicious. Thank you so much to the owner (?) for this. It is such a small gesture on the part of the owner and means so much to me. This will be the only Cobs I will be going to. Much appreciated. Your employees are amazing and so are you.

Great bakery, my favourite in Barrie. Great service from the staff any time of day, always very helpful and professional. Great quality of bread and baked goods. I’m a regular customer and very happy to have this location close to home. Great work with your staff, making sure it’s always a pleasant experience.

Tait brought in 4 boxes of baked goods (scones, etc) to us at ambulance dispatch for communicators week. All I can say is WOW!!!! First off THANK YOU!! Second they were all amazing. Had the cinnamon sugar one first. Top notch. But when I had the blueberry one I immediately started grinning like a kid on Christmas. I couldn’t stop smiling. Followed up by the raspberry one. They just made cranky me very happy. Just so damn good. Tender and tasty and not overly sweet. PERFECT!!! Thank you from Ambulance Dispatch!!!!!

I was at Cobs the other day around closing time, when I noticed they were loading the unsold product into plastic bins. I asked the staff what they do with the unsold product and they explained that it was all donated to local charities. That made my day! AWESOME Company! And pretty darn good bread too :)

OMG!! If you haven't visited COBS you don't know what you are missing! Stopped in over Thanksgiving weekend. The beautiful smell of fresh bread greets you as you walk in the store. You are greeted by very friendly staff who tempt you with free samples! What's not to love about free samples lol. We picked up some fresh buns and a 6 pack of their famous scones (Lemon Blueberry and Berry and White Chocolate) It's love at first bite!! Can't wait to go back!!

Love Cobs, the product is awesome and very tasty! A loaf of garlic cheddar sourdough doesn’t last long in the house. As much as I love the product, I do have to say how much I enjoy the staff. Always positive, great customer service. I have always enjoyed my interaction with the staff. I highly recommend Cobs!

Super friendly staff. Love the sourdough and my husband would walk over hot coals for their chocolate croissants. I know they are also very supportive of local food bank and rescue initiatives which is very important these days.

I just discovered this location in Barrie. I used to shop at a Mississauga location. So glad they finally opened one in Barrie.Excellent selection of baked goods. The scones are amazing. Too hard to decide which to purchase. So I end up with at least a dozen each visit.Just a hint....a Starbucks isn't very far.. scone to go, and stop for your Starbucks.
