Primeau Vélo - Brossard

I had Bought my first road bike and the customer service was amazing ,everything was well explained and they didn’t make me feel dumb for not knowing certain things like other places I had visited. Unfortunately the next day my front tire had a flat due to the tire being badly inserted from the manufacturer so I had to get someone to bring the bike in for me since I work nights and the customer service was even better ,the manager fixed the flat for free and even gave us a free bicycle tube and valve adapter for our troubles which he totally didn’t have to do. Awesome experience and totally am coming back for future business.

I've been to Primeau many times over the years to purchase a bike and have my bike maintained and have always walked away happy with customer service and how nice the staff are.I was there on Tuesday and the two young men fixed my tire and made other adjustments on my bike in 15 mins even though at first they weren't sure if they could fix it that day.I am so impressed and thankful and will continue to recommend and go to Primeau for all my bike needs.

There boutique/shop is nice, clean, and has a good selection. If you are interested in buying gear, this place is nice. I strongly caution against getting any repairs done here until the new mechanic team can get some more experience as both their diagnostic and repair abilities are limited to very basic items currently.I also give full credit to the customer service team, particularly Myriam. They truly listened to the problems/concerns and wanted to understand the context to improve. I have a lot of respect for that!

WARNING!!! They do not honor warranty claims even if warranty is not expired and you bring a proof of purchase.Bought a Lezyne digital Floor Pump in June 2021 at Primeau on Taschereau blvd., The pump hose plastic fitting broke 13 months after. I brought original packaging along with my Visa bill to Primeau, since they are Lezyne dealers, and the pump is covered by a 2 years warranty. I just wanted to have the pump fixed or get parts for repairing. Primeau refused to honor the warranty indicating I did not have the Primeau invoice". They refused my visa bill with the transaction posting with their name and amount showing on the bill as proof of purchase."

Purchased a bike online and received the notification to pick it up. When I got to the store, waited around 40 minutes to get the bike. Bike was clearly not ready and it took a while to talk to an employee. After getting the bike, I noticed the brake handle was broken. Primeau Velo was hesitant in addressing the situation as the bike could be used, and there was no safety concern. I insisted in asking for a part replacement. To this date, no news on the new part or on the replacement.

The poorest customer service I have ever received. I got the unfortunate chance to be a part of the team of Primeau Velo, as a bicycle mechanic, I got the opportunity to see how the inside structure is. Team spirit is lacking, a complete disrespect of employees and customers as a result. The management isn't caring at all and is very pretentious. From a customer's standpoint, be prepared to be looked at like a inferior being. People there think they are better than you because they have a better helmet than you.. ridiculous. Do yourself a favor and go in another bike shop, where you would definitely receive a better customer service and treaded with respect.

I understand that COVID hit hard.I understand that finding qualified and willing-to-work people is complicated these days.I understand that bike mechanic's' team can be overloaded with work, means business is booming and that's just great for our local economy.But...I don't understand how impossible it is to pick up the phone. Reception transfers me 'every single time' to the service department, and I get hung up on, never reaching anyone. Simply times out and no one ever took time to respond. If per any chance I get a hold of someone, it almost feels like my call is unwelcomed, making me feel unwelcome to go there.I don't understand how hard it is to tell bike-selling clerks to be kind, patient and polite with 'any' customers they ever get. Doctor, cashier, no matter who comes in should get same level of respect and quality of service. Acting condescendent with customers for their lack of knowledge on bikes is simply unacceptableQuality of service simply crashed after 2019. Don't know if administration changed, but I strongly recommend management to change gear and do a proper retrospection on QoS and customer service.

Excellent customer service. Great synergy between staff and very accommodating. The staff team is very knowledgeable and provided me with many useful tips when buying the CUBE ATTAIN GTCR 2022 road bike. I highly recommend going to Primeau Vélo if you are looking to buy any type of bike or related accessories!

I posted a review of a product I purchased from primeau velo website on the review section on their website. Unfortunately the review never ended up getting posted on their website as they have moderators who seem to filter reviews that aren't 4/5 star. I emailed and asked about the review and they said the moderator was reviewing it, 5 weeks later still not on their website. It seems fairly unethical to me to do this. I wouldn't recommend primeau velo due to these unethical practices.
