My wife and I brought our corgi puppy Waffles to Park Your Paws for level one obedience classes. During the first class Waffles came down with a stomach bug and was terribly sick throughout the class. Carrie really went above and beyond to help Waffles during the class and followed up with us later on to see how she was during our vet visit. The obedience exercises from class work really well with practice and we’ve seen a great deal of improvement with Waffles since the course. We recognize and appreciate all you’ve done for our little family! Thanks for everything.

I signed up my older dog for an agility seminar, and the instructor (Ann) was amazing! I signed my younger dog up for their beginner’s obedience class, which was an awful experience. The two instructors (I think one is the owner) were the main reason this was so bad. I was struggling with my dog, getting frustrated because he frequently refuses treats outside of our house, and the training was heavily reliant on treats. The trainers offered no extra support or suggestions for that. When I expressed my frustrations and said I needed a break they chastised me and told me that that wouldn’t help my dog. I tried to speak privately to them the second week of classes after others had left and explain I have some extra stress happening right now so I’m getting frustrated more quickly. I was met with the owner telling me all of her problems and dismissing my concerns. The last week we were outside in the parking lot for our class, so the new environment made it more difficult for me to gain my dog’s attention. We tried the exercises where we could but he was distracted and frequently barking at the other dogs (and we were continually asked to move closer which made it worse!). As a result he couldn’t demonstrate a lot of the training. Everyone else was given a certificate of completion, and I wasn’t. I wasn’t offered an explanation or even the courtesy of a farewell; they walked back into the building without acknowledging me or my dog.Just to respond to their reply. I said I wasn’t sure he was going to be able to do the heeling, not that he couldn’t.“Good job” is not feedback, especially when you said it once in reference to the heeling.I agree, Park Your Paws is not the right place for anyone. You should get a PA system of some sort as people cannot hear your instructions across a parking lot or in your large area inside.Your suggestions of toys and praise also wasn’t working. I required a break and left class for 10 minutes, stop making it out like it was for half the class. I missed teaching your dog down, which he is able to do.You both were negative and unhelpful, and yet you try to blame me for it.

We have boarded our dogs a few times now and are always so happy with the service. Our dogs get so excited when we drive into the parking lot. The staff is reliable, friendly, loving toward our dogs and willing to go above and beyond to help. Also, my kids love Kevin the pig in the Christmas parade :)

Took a dog there to get his nails trimmed for the first time and they took him in and had him out within 5 minutes or so! So easy and I didn't hear any complaints from the dog even though they were in the room right beside me and I could hear the staffs soothing voices! So happy with this experience!

It would not be fair for me to say this business does not care about their dogs, I really think they do, and have heard nothing but incredible things about Park Your Paws from people I know. When we picked our dog up the staff was very friendly with me and my dog. Our dog was only there for 2 hours and the gravel they use damaged her paws badly, resulting in a very expensive vet visit. Park Your Paws told us it was because our dog was not used to running on their gravel. She has years of experience running for very long periods of time on all difficult types of terrain with zero issues. Posting this so others are aware it could happen if their dog is not used to their gravel.

We LOVE PYP! Several years ago we moved from the area to St Andrews and then Fredericton. We still drive our Titan , an 80lb , 4 year old GSD, down to Amherst to stay with his friends at Park your Paws because we trust their care above any other kennel we have found. I guess the fact that we drive 3 hours to leave him with PYPs is a review on it's own, given that we live next door to a very popular doggie day care / kennel here in Fredericton. He can be a reactive boy to people (men) but loves dogo friends. I have NEVER been worried leaving him with Carrie and the girls, they really know how to deal with so many dog issues. AND are brilliant at pairing up play buddies. We also attended the training classes and witnessed Carrie really shine as she dealt with a few dogs that had not had much formal training and a few humans that had never owned dogs before. VERY PROFESSIONAL!! The kennel is also always SPOTLESS and Titan always comes home clean. We have left him at other kennels where he has come home smelling gawd awful and needed a groom every time. I am sad and disappointed when I call for a booking and they are fully booked lol. I guess that would be my only complaint. Their prices are amazing as well for the services they provide. Can't say enough good things! I am looking forward to them meeting my new GSD puppy Beyza! Thanks PYP for everything you do! you are appreciated.
